My heart is filled with gratitude for the beautiful and moving celebration of Holy Mass on October 12, marking my 30th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood, on the feast of Our Lady of the Pillar, also the feast of Our Lady of Aparecida.

Our Lady of the Pillar, who according to ancient tradition encouraged the Apostle St. James in his missionary labors in Spain, has accompanied my own vocational journey in remarkable ways. From my childhood in Puerto Rico, where I served as an altar boy in a parish dedicated to her, my K-12 studies at @colegioponceno also dedicated to Our Lady of the Pillar, to my years of formation and studies in Rome, and finally to my priestly ordination on her feast day in 1996. Mary has always pointed me to her Son and encouraged me to say YES to His call! Thirty years later, I can only proclaim: It has all been GRACE!

My heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined this solemn celebration, and to the many who reached out with prayers, greetings, and expressions of love and support. A special word of thanks to the FSSP seminarians from Germany who so beautifully assisted at the traditional celebration of Mass.

What a gift to offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in thanksgiving for thirty years of sharing in the one eternal Priesthood of Jesus Christ! With Our Blessed Mother I can say, Magnificat anima mea Dominum! My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord!

My heart overflows with GRATITUDE as I celebrate my 30th anniversary of priesthood at @stumiami Sunday Mass surrounded by so much love, faith, and friendship.

A special thank you to my mom, my sister, and brother-in-law; my brother priests, seminarians, and men and women religious; colleagues and friends from @stumiami, Hispanic Ministry, youth and young adult ministry, Camino del Matrimonio, my gym family, couples whose marriages I have blessed, and so many dear friends who traveled from near and far to celebrate with me!

As I shared in my homily, a priest is never ordained for himself, but for God’s people. And when I thank the Lord for 30 years of priesthood, I am also thanking Him for 30 years of people. You are all part of that incredible gift! Thank you for your love, friendship, prayers, and for being part of my priestly journey!

It has all been GRACE! My cup overflows!

What a joy to receive the invitation from my good friend Nathan and his fiancée, Deborah, asking me to celebrate their wedding!

I’ve known Nathan for more than ten years, through both our passion for bodybuilding and the Church, and it has been a blessing to witness his journey of faith over the years. Now, seeing Nathan and Deborah together, two people of deep faith with an incredible story of how God has guided their lives, makes this moment even more special.

So proud of them, so grateful for their friendship, and truly honored to say YES! I look forward to standing with them at the altar as they say their own yes to God and to one another for life. May the Lord bless Nathan and Deborah as they prepare for the Sacrament of Matrimony!

Grateful beyond words to have attended the Lessons and Carols Festival at @sjcantius_official — a celebration where Scripture, sacred music, and silence come together to prepare the heart for Christmas.

Ancient carols, soaring chant, and timeless hymns proclaimed the story of salvation — not as nostalgia, but as living hope. A night where beauty evangelizes, where the Word is sung, and where the mystery of the Incarnation is allowed to breathe.

Deep thanks to @pbkelleher, the @thecanonsregular, and to all the friends who showed such generous hospitality. Your welcome made this sacred experience even richer.

20th Annual Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols at @sjcantius_official

The Festival, which celebrates the birth of Jesus, is told in nine Bible reading, from Genesis, the prophetic books and the Gospels, interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols, hymns, and choir music.

The Festival is traditionally celebrated at St. John Cantius Church in Chicago after first Vespers of Gaudete Sunday. It is concluded with exposition and benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament, and is thus a splendid way for the participants to prepare for the coming of Christ on Christmas.
