POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This past summer, my Quintet and I recorded a record! And I cannot be more proud with how it has turned out. This project has been a huge gift, and being able to record my music with some of my best friends, in the city I grew up in is more than I ever could have wanted. I’m excited for everyone to hear what we’ve made. Will make a more official announcement when the time is right, but just know, “The Drive” is almost here!

Special shout out to @jjquilty for some of these amazing outdoor band shots, as well as Em Spencer for the studio shots.

Melody and solo for “Someday my Prince will come” (Churchill/Morey)

This is one of our favorite tunes to play and Hayden 🎸 always puts a cool #5 vamp in between choruses.

Of course if you haven’t checked out the Miles Davis version be sure to do so!

Adding 2 quotes to my solo. Can you guess the two songs I quoted??? The first quote I first heard Detroit Saxophonist Jeffrey Trent using it several years ago. The second quote my saxophone repair man Richard Pioch told me to use.

Anyways here is my solo over my original: “Pauly P”

Come check out our band tonight at Woodbridge Pub 6-9pm

Or Sunday at Ebenezer 6-9pm

Or Tuesday at 5 O’Clock Rush, 6pm
