It’s hard to find the words to describe what this past weekend at @submersionfestival meant to me. It felt like a calming reflection of the last year - a year that has truly been the best one of my life. I was surrounded by the happiest people. They felt the same things I felt. I loved sharing so many moments with so many different people, close homies and new ones. The music, the visual artists, the vendors, the people, the location—it was truly the perfect Fall gathering. I cannot wait to return next year. Until then, thank you so fucking much for that 🥲❤️

The final piece of 2020, what a year. I started sewing during quarantine and then got burnt out, enjoyed the first semester of my senior year at @univofalabama, and then completed this by pulling all nighters on 12/29 and 12/30. Outfit is made from 4 pairs of pants (pic 10) and a vest. “WHOLE LOTTA GREEN” is my version of Playboi Carti’s much anticipated “Whole Lotta Red”. The ski mask is in the style of @asspizza, camo “P” on the jacket and “2020” on the leg in the style of @kentuckyboytyler, and the exterior cargo pocket on the pants in the style of @murderbravado. The jacket has contrast sleeves, embroidered numbers and letters to imitate a varsity jacket. I chose those numbers bc I was born in 1999 and Sewboy started in 2020 and the “P” is for @pboolin. Thanks for all of the love this year 🤢🤮🔫💚

Pros: learned new techniques, good colors and style variety, multiple textures and made from scratch
Cons: leave embroidering numbers to the pros, rushed process, wanted to make beanie but wasn’t big enough for my head so made ski mask

Dude this outfit and photo shoot was so fulfilling! The function on the pants is so litty with drawstrings on the left side and ankle, a left leg pocket, and then a reflective right leg with an ankle zip. The debut “SEWBOY” jacket is kinda cool too. I used materials from patagonia, ralph lauren sport, vineyard vines, 21 men, and aftco. The venue is the old bryce hospital 🏚

I made this out of 4 pairs of khaki/cargo shorts. I’m so happy with how it all came out!

The hoodie came out so fye. Fringe never gets old, didn’t have enough material so I had to patchwork the hood but looks dope. The new machine is gas. These are like the pants where I made it from a blanket
