Everyday. My belief in multigenerational relationships, feirndships, and guidance are strengthened by the Black and melaninated women who pour into me, assuring me that we have a unique and important experience nationally and internationally that deserves to be shared and valued. Having context and conversations are key to building community, and provide a safe space to nuture our individual and collective goals and dreams. Our experience does not negate, or diminish the experiences of other women. In fact, we are not in silent or vocal competition with anyone. We owe it to ourselves to acknowledge our past and press toward our future! We gain clarity and strategy by "KNOWING." This book is rooted in concise "Storytelling" and generational offerings of wisdom passed down from girls and women of color. Purchase your copy today! Open the floor for conversation. Because... October 8, 2026 Thank You @kwamealexander (NY Times Bestselling Author, Emmy Award-winning Producer, 2026 Sine Fellow) American University and the Sine Institute for inviting me to be a Part of the 2026 Solutions Summit. To sit and share stagetime with these brilliant "storytellers" was a gift. The panel was moderated and curated by Kwame Alexander and filled with thoughtful questions about storytelling's impact on democracy! Moments like this, when both sides of my brain are invited to take to the stage and intentionally coexist, fuel me to...keep going! My blerd (black nerd) antenna were on 1000% and I loved every minute of it! While many Creatives and Comedians scurry about, and jockey for space, acceptance and adoration; I fiercely continue my journey with humility knowing that this gift has made me... #FunnyOnPURPOSE and most of all, GOD has a plan for this and every season of my life! Stay Tuned...more to come! #IndieMomOfComedy #Storytelling *Interview excerpts: All rights belong to their respective copyright owners. I do not own this footage.
