Garage —> Gym 🏋🏼 Recently, we fitted these slatted acoustic panels in this lovely personal training gym, the home of @pbully_training ! Really transformed the atmosphere of this gym by incorporating some modern style panelling. Safe to say the customer and I were both over the moon with how this project turned out! 🫡 Contact us on WhatsApp for a free quotation 📞

FIRST TRIATHLON - MISTAKES & LESSONS 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️ ❌ Mistake 1: Bike drop-off Arrived 10 min late and missed dropping bikes off the day before caused panic when they didn’t know what time it opened before our 08:30 race. ✅ Solution: Bikes slept in the hotel with us and the drop was open at 7am. ❌ Mistake 2: Parking near-disaster Parked in the Excel car park - came back 2 hours later to a note on the windscreen saying the parking was closing for the whole weekend in 30 minutes. Would’ve trapped the car for 2 days + forced Pete into another 4h round trip on Sunday night + an extra £80-90 in fees. ✅ Solution: Rented another parking space - wasted £30, but crisis avoided. ❌ Mistake 3: Race fueling Nailed a gel every ~30 min... flew out of T2 feeling great sending a 4:30 first km 💨 10 min into the run, an aid station was handing out free Morton gels. Never tried one before (they were caffeinated ☕ - I don’t drink coffee) but took one anyway, ignoring every “don’t try anything new on race day” reel I’d seen. Grabbed a fizzy cola cup instead of water by accident and still downed both together. 3 minutes later: crippling stomach ache 🤢 → forced to walk for 15 sec → pace fell to 5:15-5:30/km for the next 4km. 📉 Outcome: 3-4 minutes lost. And flew the last 5km under 4:30 pace. 🏁 First Triathlon - officially completed ✅ The reason I created this page is to share all of my mistakes and personal experience that helped me improve my performance, and to invite the helpful people in the triathlon community to share their own learnings and experiences. 7 years ago since @pbully_training and I completed our first big challenge at the Brighton Marathon. After his bike crash in Barcelona 2 weeks ago, it’s remarkable you even did this - let alone coming first in the swim and top 10 for our age group! Pleasure to share the stage with you. Just had a missed called from @ironmantri! They asked if we’re down for Barcelona 2027? 👀 #t100 #triathlon #triathlonlife #triathlonbeginner #triathlontips
