It was such a joy to be back at PCT Days after so many years away. We got the chance to reconnect with lots of old friends, make some new ones, met some legends, do lots of bag fits, and overall just had a ton of fun. Enjoy this photo-tour full of joy, PCT Days shenanigans, puppies, booth buddies, and so much more. A jam-packed audience hoping to win some sweet giveaway prizes! 🎟️ A view of the vendor tents all lined up in the Marine Pavillion. Can you find ours? One of our favorite booth visitors 🐶 One of our favorite booth visitors 🐶 And another great customer that stopped by to enter our PCT Days giveaway! 🐶 Some legendary thru hikers swung by our booth. Two of our tablers, Mads and Cassie, ready for anything! Most thru hikers who came for PCT Days stayed on Thunder Island. It was super cool to look out across the Marine Park and see all of the tents lined up! Most thru hikers who came for PCT Days stayed on Thunder Island. We caught up with thru-hikers at PCT Days to reveal their trail names and favorite condiments! One staple definitely dominated, but a few of these wildcards definitely surprised us. 🌲🌶️ What’s your non-negotiable condiment for the trail?

🎙️ LIVE FROM PCT DAYS: PART 1 IS HERE! What happens when you put a microphone in front of a bunch of thru-hikers and ask them the same four questions? You get four very different answers. ❤️ For our first-ever live recordings from Pacific Crest Trail Days in Cascade Locks, Oregon, host "Cheer" got into it with "Sparkle", "MacGyver", "Def Pos" + "Pitch Perfect" to talk about the experiences that have shaped their time on trail. One is attempting to break records. One is a PCT alum looking back. One experienced a tumultuous, but deeply spiritual, section hike. And one gives us their perspective on the PCT vs. the CDT. We asked each hiker: 🥾 What’s a moment from your hike you’ll always remember? 💪 What was harder than you expected? ✨ What was easier (or better) than you expected? 🌲 How has the trail changed you? And, as you might imagine, the answers went far beyond hiking. This is exactly why we love talking to hikers + sharing their stories. Everyone walks the same dirt, but no two people experience it in quite the same way. 🎧 PCT DAYS LIVE — PART 1 is out now on The Thru-Hiking Podcast. And stay tuned… Part 2 is coming! 🎙️ A huge thank you to Oboz Footwear for giving us a home at PCT Days and a place to capture these stories. 💚 #PacificCrestTrail #ThruHiking #ThruHiker #ThruHikingPodcast #HikingPodcast

A Photographer’s Proof of Life on the PCT 📸⛰️ Here’s to Oregon and everything it’s given us!! Trail Days, concerts, rain, craters, water carrie’s , river floats, and too many zeros to count. It’s been so sweet being in a new state, and we can’t wait for our final one.

Pacific Crest Trail (PCT): DAY 122-126 ••••• 07.12-16.26 (mile 1,822) Rolly hillishes & reunions 🎊🎉🎈🌯⛺️ Nice chill couple of days limping through southern Oregon (left knee has been acting up) culminating in a whirlwind 🌪️ I went to sleep, on a ridge, with no idea whether I’d make it to Pacific Crest Trail Trail Days (a big party for hikers doing their PCT hikes, & lots of vendors, & tons of folks from the broader hiking community). The next day, my buddy “Trucker” messaged me saying that he could swing through & scoop me up. I asked if I could get a ride back & he responded with a quick “no” (he’s currently making his way from the Atlantic Ocean (Maineside) all the way to the Pacific Ocean (Washington fires threw him a curveball on the Pacific Northwest Trail, as they’ve been doing for the rest of us on the PCT) because he wasn’t coming back that way. Time to go!!! ➡️➡️➡️ We grabbed a friend of his from Portland and touched down in Cascade Locks a while later. Trail Days was GREAT!!! Saw lots of hikers I’d not seen in a while, some sadly bearing crutches & boots & having to get off trail, & others contemplating their fire-closure futures. The best part of the entire weekend was getting to see my friends “Shep”, “No Miles, “SheRa”,…. and the list goes on. Super stoked to get to meet “Treehugger”, longtime friend of Chance’s & became fast friends. Overall, everyone behaved themselves & kept the shenanigans to a low hum. My original ride back to trail fell through but my friend “Gadget” hooked me up with a ride with his friend “Hairball” who I’d met on the Pinhoti Trail, back when I was hiking the Eastern Continental Trail (good reunion). All said and done, I had a great time & am super happy that I got to partake. Low: gassed & adding on an extra hour down & back up a mountain for absolutely nothing. High: getting to see hikers I haven’t seen in months, making brand new frands, & so happy to get to see good friends who aren’t on trail but make the hiking community in general shine just a little brighter. - more ADVENTURES: link in BIO #pct #pacificcresttrail #traildays #thruhike #backpacking

We had an incredibly fulfilling experience at this year’s @pctdays in Cascade Locks, Oregon, connecting with hundreds of thru-hikers from around the world. It was a great opportunity to share the story of @zelzin_aketzalli , our Mexican-born athlete who has helped inspire the hiking community by developing the first thru-hike route in Mexico on the Baja Peninsula, which essentially extends the PCT trail all the way down to Cabo San Lucas. The enthusiasm, global perspectives, and passion for adventure was palpable. Keep an eye out for the upcoming release of Zelzin Aketzalli’s award-winning film, Footsteps That Inspire, which recounts her remarkable journey. The film captures the challenges, inspiration, and vision behind building a route that is helping put Mexico on the global map for long-distance hiking adventures.
