Here’s why we need YOU to vote YES on the levy November 3rd!

The impact on Pickerington Central High School and Junior High on just athletics alone would be devastating to our student athletes.

🏅 915+ roster positions could disappear.*
🏆 50+ teams could be eliminated.**
📣 125 coaching positions would be at risk.***

These numbers are based on the 2025–2026 rosters and include junior high, freshman, and JV roster positions.**

Yes, some athletes participate in multiple sports, so these are roster positions not individual students!*

Booster clubs may be able to fund an assistant coach or ask for volunteers, but neither is guaranteed. Budget limitations and the availability of volunteers make it hard to ensure every team has the support it needs. Without these coaching positions, varsity teams face roster caps to maintain safe athlete to coach ratios.***

This is just Pickerington Central High School and Junior High! These numbers do not include North or Lakeview. You could pretty much double the number to get the total across the district.

Our kids need these sports to also motivate them in the classroom. Many of our student athletes also participate in other extracurricular activities that will be affected by the levy by keeping them engaged in the classroom, on the field, on the stage and in their lives.

This is about our all our kids (K-12) and coming together as a community to secure their futures.
💜🗳️
Please vote YES on November 3rd!

💜🐯 SUPPORTING PICK KIDS 🐯💜

What you see here are the 50+ sports that will be affected and no longer offered if the levy does not pass on November 3rd.

Pickerington Central Athletic Boosters’ number one priority is supporting our student athletes. We want to keep as many kids as possible on the court, on the field, on the stage, and involved in the clubs and activities they love.

These programs (sports and music, theatre, and clubs included) give students opportunities to grow, make friends, learn teamwork, obtain leadership skills and be part of something bigger.

This is about keeping opportunities for our kids available.

Vote YES for Pick Kids on November 3rd.

💜🐯 SUPPORTING PICK KIDS 🐯💜

The Pickerington Central Athletic Boosters proudly supports our student athletes at every level.

We want to see our kids have the opportunity to start in recreational sports, continue through junior high, and grow into high school athletes. When they are part of a sports team, they learn valuable skills that will carry into adulthood, create friendships, build confidence, work as a team, and learn how to develop leadership skills.

According to Pickerington Local Schools, if the levy does not pass, athletic teams below the varsity level would be suspended, along with other reductions to extracurricular opportunities.

The proposed November levy could have a significant impact on all extracurricular activities, not just sports but also music, clubs and the arts.

We encourage our Pickerington community to learn more about the November levy, understand how it could affect our students, and ask the questions!
