Just over a week ago on 11/18, students in our Rocket Design project capped off their semester at launch day!

17 teams comprised of 68 students launched and recovered the rockets that they worked hard to design, simulate, and build over the semester.

We are so proud of them for the incredible work they've put out over the past 8 weeks and can't wait for them to join us in the spring to earn L1 High Power Rocketry certifications!

Last week, students in our Quadcopter Design project constructed and flew their designs in a mini competition! They learned everything from quadcopter basics, to CAD software, and electronics. We are so proud of all the hard work our members put in to gain hands-on experience!

This project will restart from the beginning in the spring semester for any members who are still interested.

This past week, students in our Rocket Design project were the first to enter the build phase! 17 teams built model rockets over the course of three days, under instruction by our amazing leads.

Before building, each team had the opportunity to utilize the machine shop and TI lab to precisely cut their parts.

We're looking forward to seeing them all launch on November 18!
