I had such a great time at FDHA! It’s such a great opportunity to see what the newest and best products are for dental hygiene. Whether it’s for ourselves or for the improvement of patient care every year I learn something new. I can’t wait for next year #dentalhygiene #dentalhygienists #fdha #adha #dentalproducts

Every October, this one comes out of the cassette first 🎀

Scaling in pink with the @pdtdental Montana Jack® Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. PDT donates a portion of every pink Montana Jack sold to cancer research, so every appointment feels a little more meaningful.

Early detection saves lives. Book your screening, check yourself, and nudge the women in your life to do the same.

🦷 About the instrument:

🩷 Lightweight resin handle

🩷 Extended knurling for control and tactile sensitivity

🩷 Sharp, durable working end for efficient calculus removal

🩷 The pink is easy to spot chairside, which I love

💗🎀 WE WEAR PINK AROUND HERE! 🎀💗

Pink Prophy Slap? ✔️
Pink Montana Jack? ✔️
Breast Cancer Awareness? ALWAYS. 💕

October is a reminder that behind every pink ribbon is a real person, a family, a fighter, and a story. 💗

So we’re bringing a little pink into the op this month because we can love our dental girlie things AND support a cause that hits so many lives. 🦷🎀

From our instruments to our prophy paste cups, we’re making pink part of the conversation. 💕

💗 Early detection matters.
💗 Support the fighters.
💗 Remember those we’ve lost.
💗 Never underestimate the power of showing up.

And yes… even our dental instruments understood the assignment. 💅🦷

Thank you @pdtdental and @prophyslap for making a warrior pink color for me to rock all October long!

Ten years ago, I wrote down a dream: to teach hygienists hands-on, in an operatory.

On October 16 and 17, that dream came true.

The full P3 experience now has a home at @iade_center . A classroom with 15 seats. Five operatories. Two days at the chair.

@dranthonyvocaturo didn’t just open his center. He closed his office for two days to make this happen. That’s long-term vision. Thank you for seeing mine.

To my team, who has been with me through every change: I don’t do this alone.

To my sponsors who believed in a small, hands-on room: thank you.

Some people still don’t get it. That’s okay. I’ll keep building for the people who do.

Many modified P3 Workshops run throughout the year. The full P3 experience happens once a year, and now it has a home.

There’s a lot that goes into bringing dental care across Montana, and we’re proud of every part of it. 💙

From the equipment we bring to the care we provide, every detail matters.

At Smiles Across Montana, we’re committed to making quality, preventive dental care accessible to communities across our state.

We couldn’t do this work without the partners, sponsors, and supporters who believe in what we’re building.

Want to be part of it? Learn how you can support our work at the link in bio.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, to support this, @pdtdental donates a portion of all pink Montana Jacks (both regular and rigid) to all cancer research! It’s my all time favorite sickle scaler because the pink is so easy to see and it supports such an important cause.

Today, we celebrate the dental hygiene profession and the people who make it extraordinary. 💜

Dental hygienists prevent disease, educate patients, expand access to oral healthcare and strengthen the overall health of their communities. Their knowledge, compassion and dedication make a difference every day.

Help us recognize someone who represents the best of the profession. Tag a colleague in the comments and tell us why their work matters to you. 🌟

Then shine or wear purple, take a photo and tag CDHA as we celebrate dental hygienists across California.

Not a CDHA member? Join or reinstate your membership in October and save $25 with code DHM26. Membership connects you with continuing education, professional resources, advocacy and a statewide community committed to advancing dental hygiene.

Discount valid for licensed dental hygienists joining for the first time or rejoining after a membership that expired in 2024 or earlier. New members will be entered into a drawing to win an iPhone 17, Students will entered to win a NBDHE VIP Package, and all CDHA members will be entered into a separate prize drawing!
