Averi and Roy wanted their wedding at Chateau de Harpe in Portland to feel sultry, spooky and romantic, with plenty of gothic details and personal touches.

They took inspiration from the venue's gargoyles, adding flowers, moss and dramatic lighting throughout the space. There was gothic poetry during the ceremony, a black wedding cake and a temporary tattoo station featuring Averi's own artwork.

She also made rhinestoned matchbooks, custom lip balms and crystal and moss boutonnieres, while guests could put together their own little trinket bags.

Nathan and Hazel’s August wedding was simply beautiful. The Chateau was filled with family and friends who came together to celebrate two families, two cultures, and two hearts becoming one. It was so special to witness the love surrounding these two and see their story celebrated in such a meaningful way.

Three Septembers. Almost exactly 365 days between each one.

2024: a random coffee pop-up in Multnomah Village.
2025: marrying my best friend.
2026: (almost) opening my own coffee shop.

Apparently the end of September has become a pretty significant time in my life. Stick with me for a second…

In 2024, what was supposed to be one random pop-up with @lostfoundcoffee turned into an introduction to a neighborhood I would completely fall in love with. It was the first time I met so many of you and the beginning of a chapter that would end up keeping me here for the next couple of years. @multnomahvillagepdx 🫶

In 2025, I married Kyle. My best friend, biggest supporter, and the person who has been through every version of this dream with me from the very beginning. And, yes of course we were sipping on espresso martinis on our wedding day🍸

And now, September 2026.

In that same neighborhood, literally one block away, I’m about to open @overflowcoffee.pdx . A dream I’ve carried since 2017.

And somehow, Kyle is still right beside me.

Which… don’t make me pull out the September 2017 picture because I absolutely have one. 👀

This is proof of just how much life can change in a year when you let it. When you keep saying yes, keep following what feels right, and don’t need to know exactly where it’s all leading yet.

Pretty freaking cool. 🤍 My blessings really do overflow.

Katie & Matt’s wedding day was so incredibly beautiful. 🤍

After all the years of school, moving, major sickness, and everything life threw their way, they stuck together through it all. They always knew they were going to spend the rest of their lives together—and it was so special to watch them finally say their I do’s.

Family came from all over to celebrate them, and you could truly feel how loved, supported, and excited everyone was to see these two finally tie the knot.

And the Jenkins Estate was absolutely perfect for them. The beautiful grounds, all the gorgeous purple wedding colors, the little details, and so much love surrounding them all day. 💜

I loved every bit of this day and feel so lucky I got to be there to capture it. ✨
