After weeks on the road, I’ve finally had a chance to catch my breath! So let’s catch up 🇮🇹

Next stop: Cinque Terre!

After Lake Como, we piled the whole family into a minivan and made our way down to this beautiful stretch of villages along Italy’s northwestern coastline.

We stayed up on the hillside in Levanto, where our days were spent wandering down to the beach for pasta and aperol spritzes, exploring little shops, and hopping on trains between the villages.

A few things we learned along the way: the walk back up to our stay definitely counts as your workout for the day, seagulls are VERY friendly on boat tours, and making fresh pesto at sunset is always a yes.

But the most special part of our visit was making our way to Rondenina, the little village where my grandma grew up before moving to the States. Getting to see a piece of our family’s history in person was something I’ll always treasure.

I’ve always loved traveling with my family, and I’m so happy we finally made our Europe trip happen together. So many memories from this one.

Next up: Greece! 🇬🇷

First weekend in Lake Como!! 🇮🇹

You can see pretty quickly why this is one of the favorite places to visit in the world.

Between lakeside cafés, gelato, and swans drifting through the harbors, it’s quiet, charming, and somehow even prettier in person. Taking a wooden boat around the lake was definitely the best way to see some of its famous villas and real estate
