I honestly don't know what I would do without #freerunning and #parkour. The friends I've made while practicing this sport have become my brothers, and I mean all of you guys on @team_valeur. The focus I placed on this discipline, the last 2 years especially, has been a huge help and even my go-to while grieving my mom's passing. For some reason this sport is the one that spoke to me, after trying at least 7 others, Freerunning is the one that motivated me and (literally) moved me. There's nothing else like the feeling of overcoming obstacles, physically, personally, or mentally, & Parkour is the physical manifestation of that feeling. I might not even be here today if not for the joy it provides me. I felt I needed to give my gratitude to this training and hope that the #universe sends positivity my way. I'm afraid that I won't be able to train much longer because I've developed patellar tendonitis or #jumpersknee and everyday it seems to affect my ability worse and worse. However I have too much passion to just give it up, so I'm gonna fight and flip on, and hope that the pain in my knees let's up before I'm forced to go through surgery. So please send some positive, healing energy my way! ♥
