So in September @peaceinmovement celebrated their 1-year anniversary & hosted their weekly Saturday Earth Flow class, but with a LIVE DJ! 🎤 @djayde_ really brought the class to life, and I’m soooooo so glad I got a chance to take one of my favorite classes with a live DJ set playing in the background 😍

Like the outfit? It’s from @slinkapparel, comment “SLINKY” for a link to the outfit - use code “MOOSELOVESU2” for some $ off! #plussizepole #dmvpole #plussizepoledancer #lowflowpole

I’ve never posted a full performance before, but who knows when I’ll be performing again, so here we are! 🫠

After months of my shoulders giving me hell - presumably from teaching and covering more classes than I should have, my body finally demanded a hard stop.

Several weeks of rest and a pain-free shoulder later, I decided there was NO WAY I was missing @peaceinmovement one-year anniversary showcase.

With weeks of no practice, I turned on the music and this little freestyle floated out of me. And I was pretty pleased with it.

Of course, my shoulder started aching after this run-through. Did I still perform? Absolutely, but with less “tricks.” Was I dealing with pain and inflammation for the next 10 days? Also absolutely. 😩

So now I’m back to taking recovery seriously because Pole Is LIFE, and I have every intention of doing this for as long as I live. 🖤

Thank you, Peace in Movement, for giving me a space to celebrate art, create art, and BE art. 🌱✨

The time has come 🖤

PEACE IN BROKEN PIECES
A Solo Exhibition by Simone Agoussoye
Can something be broken and still be whole?

Peace in Broken Pieces explores what happens after life breaks differently than we expected—the breaking, the pieces we’re left to sit with, the peace we begin to find, and ultimately, the realization that wholeness does not require becoming who we were before.

OPENING RECEPTION
October 15, 2026
6:30–9:00 PM

All you need is a little motivation and a safe place to learn. Age, fitness level, body type, nothing matters when we all have the same goal. Don’t let your mind stop your body from fulfilling something you’ve always wanted to try. I encourage my classes to look past what they think they can’t do and focus on the moment. You’ll never know what you can do till you get in my class. 🫸🏽🫷🏽♥️
