This is a very vulnerable post for me to share, but I know there’s another woman out there who needs to hear this.

For most of my life, I’ve been the “skinny girl.” The “you’re so little” girl. The “you need to eat” girl. The “you’re skin and bones” girl. And if you’ve ever been that girl, you know how much those comments can stick with you, even when people don’t realize how deeply their words can affect you. I was about 117 pounds when I first started working out November 2025

In March, I was 125 lbs. Today, in October, I’m 135 lbs. And while 10 pounds might not seem like much to some people, for ME, this is progress. This is consistency. This is showing up for myself, even on the days when I didn’t feel strong enough, didn’t see the changes, or wanted to give up.

I’m sharing this as a reminder to all my women: KEEP GOING. Stop comparing your journey to someone else’s. Stop letting comments about your body define how you feel about yourself. And PLEASE don’t fall victim to everything you see on social media. You don’t know someone else’s genetics, lifestyle, struggles, or what it took for them to get where they are.

Your goal doesn’t have to be to look like the next woman. Your goal should be to feel good, get stronger, nourish your body, drink your water, eat well, rest, and take care of YOU.

Give yourself grace. Be patient with your body. Celebrate the little wins. Progress doesn’t always happen overnight, and your journey may look completely different from the person next to you. That doesn’t make your progress any less meaningful.

To the girl who has spent years feeling too skinny, too big, or just not enough in her own body: you are more than other people’s opinions. You deserve to feel confident, healthy, and comfortable in your own skin.

I’m still a work in progress, and I’m proud of that. This is my journey, my body, and my timeline. And I’m going to keep showing up for ME. 🤍

Yes contrary to belief. I’m only 5”1
