Some women collect shoes. I collect muscle. 💪😂
And apparently, I'm not finished yet. Years of hard work.

I might collect shoes too..... my parents would call me Eva Perón.

What do you collect?

I’ve had the chance to really reflect on this year and I think I’m going to wrap up it all up with saying a few things:

I found my place in the @unitedgridleague at a time when I was searching for somewhere I fit in. Who knew doing burpee backflips for conditioning back in college cheer would eventually give me the opportunity to compete in a sport like this and meet some of my best friends along the way?

I’ve learned so much about myself this past season. I’m taking those lessons with me moving forward, using them to become a better version of myself and create better environments around me.

I’ll always be competitive. I’ll always want to challenge myself. Whether that’s on the grid or another comp floor, I think the only way I truly retire is if I’m physically incapable of doing it. This is an opportunity, and I GET to do it. That’s something I never want to take for granted.

Heading into the off-season, there are a lot of people who deserve recognition and a huge thank you:

@resolvetherapeutics for supporting me through my endeavors and helping keep my body ready to perform at its best🙌

@xpodium_usa for providing me with the best equipment and helping me show up ready to compete💪

@dailycompmedia for supporting me and always being a real one!

The folks of the @unitedgridleague (staff and volunteers) who help make the season happen✨

And of course, my friends and family for believing in me, cheering me on, and keeping me sane during my travel meltdowns 😂

I don’t take the support lightly and am extremely grateful.

Now let’s go become an absolute unit for whatever is going to come next!!!!

Northshore 10 Miler 💖

Ended the weekend by PR’ing my 10 miler at @northshorehalfmarathon 🙌🏼 and getting the Fontainedeux challenge medal!

TW - if you don’t like clowns 😭 skip slide two 🤡

I went into this race wanting to beat my previous PR by getting 2:20 and I ended up beating that goal! Chip time was 2:14! This run started off good but by mile 8 and 9 it got a little tough through the trace portion of the run. That sun was beating down but I pushed through and picked up pace in that last mile!

Wrapped up the weekend with a PR treat from @playabowls 🍍 got their seasonal special Happy Pumpkin 🎃 it was so yummy and look at that cute little chocolate pumpkin!

National Burpee Day at Burn Boot Camp was absolute CHAOS. 💀🔥

I already posted a separate video featuring all 183 burpees (yes, ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY-THREE 🫠), so this one only has a few sprinkled in between the actual exercises that tried to take me out today. 😂

Pretty sure I questioned every life choice I’ve ever made, and at one point, my life flashed before my eyes. 🪦

And because apparently I enjoy suffering, I showed up with a lovely blister on the bottom of my left foot courtesy of yesterday’s 12K race. Nothing like adding a little extra pain to an already questionable situation. 🏃‍♀️🔥

Did I survive? Technically.
Will I be back tomorrow? Unfortunately, yes. 🤣💪
