Our first big trip, in something Mom and Dad called a camper was out west. Mount Rushmore, 1st stop. No Dogs past a certain point, very annoying. They did give us little B.A.R.K badges for our efforts, our Friend Bear traveled with us too. Badlands.... OK saw animals larger than cows. Yellowstone, waiting for a gush (it was water)... Our ride was cozy in Bears car and Callie and I liked driving from place to place in the camper, lots of places for napping. We stopped at a Great Salt Lake and camped ...kinda smelly..we saw kids swimming. Stopped in Phoenix where we were very happy guests at a Chick- fil-A. Last stop was a visit to peakepups and put to work filming a Halloween video, crumb size snacks were provided for our efforts.

Lilo (F, 4 yo) and Magic (M, 2 yo) love games, and here they take turns with a Treat Puzzle at @pawsofcoronado ! While Sweet Lilo checks out every aspect of the puzzle and patiently works to get to the treats, feisty Magic jumps right in…and figures out that taking it apart is the quickest way to the treats!! Two dogs, same puzzle! Both Lilo and Magic love to train, and they will work with you tirelessly on ANYTHING…puzzles, commands, walking/running, playing, cuddling…you name it! If you are looking for an attentive, loving and loyal companion, then come meet Lilo and/or Magic at PAWS. They’re ready! Call (310) 710-4709, or apply online at PAWSofCoronado.org.

❤️All PAWS Adoptable Dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped.

Sadie & Val, a sweet bonded pair at @pawsofcoronado , are our PAWS Pets of the Week! (Thank you @samobrienrealtor and @markobrienrealtor !) These 2 1/2 year old mixed breed girls are so sweet…they just need a little time to warm up and build some trust. Then, watch out…because their fun and goofy side comes out! This lovable pair would do so well in a quieter home with a secure yard and adopters willing to give them time to decompress, adjust and continue building their confidence. If that sounds like you, just call PAWS at (619)!435-8247, apply online at PAWSofCoronado.org, or come on down to visit these sweeties!

This weekend @pawsofcoronado was the guest beneficiary of the First Glow & Give Paddle hosted by our partners @sup_pups and @light_up_pups at @libertystation ! Two PAWS Pups—little Tater Tot and not so little Roco—got to go on their first Stand Up Paddle ever!! What a treat for our Precious Rescues…we literally couldn’t get them off the boards or out of the water at the end of the evening. And so many of their PAWS Pals showed up to paddle and support PAWS with donations of supplies…more than we could fit in the PAWS Van!! Thank you SUP Pups, Light Up Pups and Everyone for a magical evening for PAWS of Coronado…let’s do it again!!

I’ve been a big fan of Arlo and Kara for a while now & was star-struck when I got to meet them at @tracispaws event, Unleash the Holiday Cheer! And can you believe it - they booked a Paws Across San Diego session to benefit @sdhumanesociety.
Their parents are amazing fosters and supporters of rescues, so a huge thank you to them for supporting the rescue community & giving a voice to the voiceless!

Our session at Civita Park was really fun - that is such a great location!!

ARLO took newcomer LOKI out for his first Buddy Walk at @pawsofcoronado…and wanted to take him to one of his favorite places at the @coronadoferrylandingshops. We of course couldn’t resist sweet ARLO, so here they are getting their drink on at @vomfasscoronado and greeting everyone at the Ferry Landing! What a perfect first Buddy Walk for LOKI. Both of these handsome, sweet and fun boys are ready for their FURever Homes: LOKI (6 year old male husky mix with gorgeous different colored eyes); and ARLO (2 1/2 year old male shepherd mix who just came back to PAWS through no fault of his own). If you’re looking for a “Bar Room Buddy,” or any kind of Buddy, these are your guys!!! Call (619) 435-8247, apply online at PAWSofCoronado.org, or come on down and share a drink with these Good Boys. And please help spread the word by Reposting, Sharing, Liking, Commenting…every action helps!! Thank you!
