- time, healing & challenge -

i’ve re-written this caption many times over the past few months. my thoughts & feelings kept changing each time i wanted to post an update. but that’s the thing, life is forever changing. it’s non-linear

my life’s completely different to how it was a year ago. there’s been some really great times, and a lot of not so good times.

in hard times, you must rely on yourself

rely on yourself to accept, regulate, trust & find meaning in things that are new. you cannot prevent disaster, you must learn to manage it

something that continues to help me, is belief. belief in yourself. believe in what your heart & head tells you. i’ve found that most of the time they can be saying different things, knowing when to differentiate the 2 is important

creating opportunities from challenges is where growth happens. my current life consists of studying, learning, rehabbing, lifting, training (what I can), coaching, working, recovering & most importantly, improving myself. I’m thankful for the things i’ve learned, the opportunities i’ve opened up and the traits i’ve built.

when life slows down, slow down with it & grow ❤️

looking forward to the future as my injury continues to heal 📈
