🚀 Pear VC has announced its $333 million Fund V, bringing its total assets under management to over $1.1 billion.

Founded by Mar Hershenson and Pejman Nozad, the Menlo Park-based venture capital firm continues to double down on backing ambitious founders at the pre-seed and seed stages.

Beyond capital, Pear supports startups with talent, go-to-market strategy, marketing, and fundraising.

The firm also welcomed Arash Afrakhteh, Ajay Kamat, and Shravan Reddy as new general partners.

A major milestone for Pear VC and another strong signal of investor confidence in the next generation of startup founders.

Through candid conversations with founders and investors, alongside insightful sessions at the World Economic Forum, Stanford University, Replit and J.P. Morgan, the trek connected Dubai-based founders with some of the brightest minds shaping the future of technology and business.

Building on our London trek earlier this year, this experience marks another step in connecting Dubai’s entrepreneurial ecosystem with global opportunities.

Accelerators that are not YC.
There are 7+ startup accelerators you can apply to right now (no warm intro, real funding, actual help) and almost nobody talks about them.
Save this if you’re raising in 2026. 🔖
The “big names” get 20,000 applications for 200 spots. Meanwhile there’s a whole tier of programs writing real checks, with better access and way less noise. You just have to know they exist.
I made the full list (links + which ones are open + what they actually give you).
Comment “ACCELERATOR” and I’ll send it to you. 👇
Follow for the parts of fundraising nobody explains.
Which one are you applying to first? 👀

Growth gets all the attention.

But sometimes, the smartest thing a founder can do is slow down long enough to get the important things right.

Pear VC calls it active patience — staying close, fixing what needs fixing, and building a stronger foundation before scaling.

Because growing faster isn't always the same as building better.

Got rejected by YC? Here are 5 accelerator programs still open right now.

Techstars, PearX, Character Labs, Solo Founders, and Cardano x DraperU all have live applications with deadlines between now and November.

Save this so you don’t miss a deadline, and send it to a founder who needs it too.
