A wondrous thing seeing a few of my dad's elusive singles from the 70's floating around out there in their physical form.

Slowly bringing some of them home.

Released 1974 on Third Ear Music/CBS.
Produced by Grahame Beggs.

Cape Town's winter soundtrack has arrived.

One of the highlights of this year's @heat_arts_festival is the exceptional music programme curated by Quiet Life - A carefully assembled lineup celebrating some of the most exciting voices in South African music today.

Across ten days, audiences can experience performances by Giuliette Price, Karla van Solms, Mfazwe Yamwezi, MANA, Operation Khataza, Luh'ra, Wren Hinds Band, Francesca Biancoli, Internet Athi and Mishy Kope, alongside a wider programme of jazz, opera, choral music and musical theatre.

Rather than chasing big names, HEAT continues to champion discovery, bringing audiences closer to artists who are shaping the future of South African music in intimate, thoughtfully curated spaces.

If you care about live music, this is one festival not to miss.

Magic moments with @wrenhinds and his stellar full band performance at this year's After Dark series at @2oceansaquarium 🪼

There's nothing quite like this coming out of the global independent scene- let alone South Africa- we might just be stepping into a new golden age.

A good day to shop all four vinyl releases on this @bandcamp Friday!

An honourable gesture from the good folks at @bandcamp (the king of all online music stores) where 100% of proceeds go directly to the artists who pour their hearts and souls into their offerings.

Order any of these limited vinyl editions released with love via the great @bella_union (link in bio).

Ditch spotify and all the rest, support independent artists, labels and platforms like @bandcamp x

𓅨 2025 certainly has had me on the road a bunch- and i'm overjoyed to head out to Mcgregor at the end of the month for an unplugged one-night-only performance at the Love Life Festival (March 20-23).

My show will be going down on March 22 at The Wahnfried, a 60-seater bohemian style venue. Definitely worth seeing this beauty of a town over the festival weekend (only 2hrs from CT) x

Seats are extremely limited. Tickets via @quicket / @lovelifefest
