Took me 30 years to be happy with my insecurities and blessings and if I could go back to tell my younger self anything... I wouldn't tell em a damn thing, let him learn 😂 I'm where I need to be. Grateful for my life, my partner, and my future. I could ask for nothing more 💯

Sometimes what we need.. is rest.

This is a gentle reminder to listen to your body. It is constantly sending us messages of what it needs. Listen to the signs. Be kind to your body. Your body is not a rag doll. Care for it, Love it, Listen to it. 💛

For the last few weeks I've been dealing with chronic fatigue, pain and flare ups. These things affect my work and motivation to be creative.

I didn't feel like creating art, working on commissions or doing ANYTHING.
At first, I pushed through the feeling but it was becoming overwhelming.

I recently decided to LISTEN to my body, instead of trying to push through it.

It feels nice to listen to my body and not feel guilty for resting. (much-needed rest)

Odd enough, I got the inspiration to draw when I was resting and laying with my cat.😊
