Ladssss! Where to begin or end? Thank you will never be enough to express my heartfelt gratitude to the sea of people who helped me to make 42 Douglas Street my home, studio and showroom. A community of incredible folks including my family, friends, the local community, my brilliant builders, plumbers, electricians. plasterers and so many other trades worked so very hard to help and see it through. Not to mention Celeste, the Flower Girls, all my brilliant buddies - who brought phenomenal talent and flair from the art world and beyond - so many people who waded in to help.
Hugh Wallace, Maya and all the Animo crew were beyond sensitive when things were tough (and sad). I wlll never forget all the kindness throughout the project AND today. Oh holy smokes - I’m bobbing around in a sea of love. Celeste & I put this reel together to try to acknowledge some of the support that surrounded me on this mad mission. I didn’t have pics for everyone and God know I may have missed off some people but I hope they felt appreciated and know how highly I regard their contribution to my home.
Home is where the heart (and art!) is. I am so grateful to everyone who poured love into this project. The reaction has been bananas. I ❤️ that you ❤️my home too.
I have a love / hate relationship with my phone but I will do tours and reply to ALL your kind messages in coming weeks.

WOW! I truly had a moment today when we were filming content in my house, a moment of pride and joy. I’m not sure there has ever been a time where I have loved so much of the product. So much so, I was struggling to pack it all back up!! I just wanted to keep my house just as it was and fill it with all the divine rugs especially. They honestly transform a space. Each and every one of them were just perfect.

Anyway enough of my rambling, check them all out for yourselves above and make sure to catch up on last weeks reel with them if you missed it! We have just 5 left and they won’t be restocked but we think they each deserve a spot on the grid(!)

✨Elevating a living room with some new additions ✨

My lovely client wanted to keep the existing vibrant @farrowandball Stiffkey blue but the white freestanding unit in the alcove & white shelving & tv unit just didn’t gel with the colour so I had some beautiful bespoke built in joinery made for each alcove & a new tv unit, both in Stiffkey blue, which made the space look so much more cohesive.

I had 2 custom sofas made by @finlinefurniture in a lovely neutral fabric to very specific sizes dictated by the space, but had them made deeper than the old sofas for extra comfort. A stunning ottoman & patterned cushions by @pebbleandsash added some edge to the space. New styling accessories in the alcove cabinetry mixed in with the clients eclectic book collection, new side tables & rug complete the look. A comfortable & stylish space with lots of character & colour where the whole family can relax 💙
