It’s been a special season for our garden this year. A common expression in the Hunter when it comes to plants is, “Sleep, creep, leap!” Meaning new plants do very little until their third year. Well, it’s our third year of garden life at Pebblebrook and while we’re always working on it, it definitely leapt this year!! So about 6 months ago @dan_rossss and I made the decision to buy a home in the #huntervalley as a challenge and opportunity to create a place that felt like home, even if we weren’t quite sure what that meant. What we learned was home included lots of gardening in the sunshine, wine and drinks on the porch, sunsets that you’d have to be there to believe, and most importantly a place to share with all the people we love. Basically we went searching for Northern California...in Australia and we found it. Complete with American neighbor besties up the road 😉 @tinyglitterpony @hwtexas

Now we’re planting fruit trees for an orchard, put in a wood burning fireplace, a hot tub and the last step is to share it with anyone who wants to stay. ♥️
