Some rave nights start at a venue. This one started by following my friends into the dark with absolutely no idea what was waiting ahead. 🌲🖤

A few minutes later, the trees started glowing, the bass got louder, and suddenly we were standing in the middle of a full forest rave surrounded by psychedelic visuals, lights, music, and a crowd completely immersed in the experience.

That contrast is what made this one so memorable for me. One second you’re walking through a dark path with your phone flashlight on, and the next you’re stepping into this colourful little world hidden inside the forest.

I love when Montréal’s rave scene goes beyond the usual club or warehouse setup and turns unexpected spaces into something completely different for one night. It makes the whole experience feel like an adventure before you even reach the dance floor.

The Wizards vs Goblins concept made it even more immersive, with different sounds and energies throughout the night and a setting that genuinely felt like its own little universe.

These are the kinds of Montréal rave moments I love documenting the most — creative, unexpected, a little surreal, and impossible to fully understand until you’re actually there. 🌲🔊✨

What started as a regular dépanneur turned into a full little dance floor — DJs behind the counter, people moving between the aisles, cameras everywhere, and a crowd completely embracing how unusual the whole setup was.

That’s what I love about creative rave culture: the venue doesn’t always need to look like a venue. Sometimes the most ordinary spaces become the ones you remember the most.

This one was fun, intimate, a little chaotic, and very Montréal. ✨

Huge love to everyone who helped bring the idea to life, the DJs who played, and everyone who showed up and made the space feel alive.

Some of my favourite rave moments are the ones that completely change how you look at an everyday space. 🖤🔊

From the outside, this was just another Montréal dépanneur. Then you walk in and suddenly there’s a DJ setup beside the counter, people dancing between the aisles, music taking over the whole space, and the store turning into a little techno dance floor.

That contrast is what made this one so fun to capture. It wasn’t trying to be a huge club night or massive production it was creative, unexpected, intimate, and full of personality.

I love seeing people in Montréal take familiar spaces and completely reinvent them for a night. It’s these kinds of events that make the underground scene feel so alive and unpredictable.

And clearly I’m not the only one who loves this kind of thing 😭🫶

There’s something I really love about seeing people take a completely ordinary space and turn it into something memorable for a night. 🖤🔊

This time, my friends literally transformed a Montréal dépanneur into a techno rave, DJ setup right by the counter, people dancing between the aisles, and the whole place slowly turning into its own little dance floor.

It was such a fun reminder that rave culture doesn’t always need a huge warehouse or a massive production to feel special. Sometimes it’s really about the people, the music, the creativity behind the idea, and that feeling of everyone being in on the same little moment together.

I also love how Montréal keeps finding ways to make unexpected spaces part of the nightlife experience. A dépanneur is probably one of the last places you’d expect to end up raving, which is exactly why this one felt so fun to document. 😭✨

Sometimes it’s not just about music. This night was also about people. Making an EP is one thing, but uniting everyone around one project for a night is something else, this, was something else.
