Weekend on Wheels 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️🚴 This past weekend we hosted our Weekend on Wheels in Prince Edward County, and it was epic! Participants from all over Ontario joined to bike the County and spend 2 nights at beautiful Lake on the Mountain in cozy accommodation by @lakeonthemountain @mattinsonhostedhomes We visited the County’s best parks, restaurants, bakeries, and historic sites while completing a total of 100km over two days. 💯 Thank you to this incredible group that has become a part of Bike the County’s Weekend on Wheels family. A very impressive accomplishment for all types of riders, including a few 75+ year olds! 🙌 Weekends like this are what keep the wheels rolling at Bike the County, the team is so inspired by you all, and our bellies and hearts are full! ❤️ We cannot wait for another weekend like this next year. 💭 #ontariobybike #visitthecounty #bikethecounty #pec

Girls trip to The County! We decided to Spice up our lives and head east.... What a fun weekend taking the relaxing route along Highway 2 enroute to LOYALIST Hwy 33..... Grafton, Colborne, Brighton, Consecon, Hillier, Wellington, Bloomfield and Picton! Traveling through Bloomfield & Wellington we stopped at @thelocalstorepec, with an eclectic selection of new & Vintage items that are really hard to resist... so we didnt!! Lunch @normanhardiewinery... yum! MacCool's Reuse @maccoolsreuse is always worth the visit, located on road 12. Great finds are always in store! Stayed at the lovely Waring House @thewaringhouse for our base. Great accommodations! Right down the road is @lockyerscountrygardens. The greenhouses and plants are drool-worthy! All are so helpful & knowledgeable! Ask for Greg and tell him 'the girls from Cobourg' recommended all to visit! Attended the Crystal Palace Antique Show @tickintime with so many fabulous Vendors & swoon-worthy antiques! Ann from @beginagainantiquesandvintage had some fabulous items we had to wrap up and take with us! While in Picton we stopped at several adorable shops including Love the Design @lovethedesign, a quaint shop with great pieces and such attention to detail! Our last day before heading home, we traveled to a favourite haunted when we're in the area. PECish Bakery @pecishbaking.co is a MUST stop in Milford, about 10 minutes from Picton. The desserts, breads and coffee/teas are heavenly! And of course located only a short walk away on Saint Philip St. is another must stop at L'Atelier du Presbytere @atelierdupresbytere. To say the least, this shop is an experience! You feel like youre in Provence! The owners are so accommodating and helpful and their accents are dreamy! Ooh la la! Our final stop along Road 1 in Consecon, was to Bent Barn @bentbarn_pec Always a treat to browse through their selection of new & Vintage finds! Again, couldn't resist and had to find space in our vehicle which was bursting at the seams with all of our treasures! So if youre looking for a little 'getaway girls' weekend', Prince Edward County is a short trip away for a fabulous experience!! #princedwardcounty #thecounty
