Can we talk about how magical Prince Edward County is for a second? 🏳️‍🌈✨

Everyone knows The County for wineries and beach weekends, but I don’t think enough people realize it’s also home to one of the most beautiful queer communities in Ontario.

This trip was all about celebrating some of the queer-owned businesses and allies that make this place so special and trust me, this list isn’t even close to complete.

Let’s start at @pecishxpress , where Matti made me feel like a regular instantly. Breakfast sandwiches, pastries, smoothies, and of course… matcha. Because the gays do love a good matcha.

We made dried flower bouquets @the_love_loft , stayed at the dreamy queer-owned @moody_dunes , made Pride jewelry at @anicejewellery , ate the most unreal meal @gathertherestaurant , and had lunch @wildlot , a queer-owned distillery with amazing food, handcrafted drinks, seltzers, and the prettiest patio.

We painted pottery @countycreativestudio , stayed @thejunemotel where they left me the sweetest Pride note.

There are still so many places on my list like @spiritualalchemywellness @laluxefemme @citizen_frances @stellaseatery @carsonsgardenmarket that I can’t wait to explore.

Supporting queer-owned businesses and the allies who genuinely show up for our community matters now more than ever. 🌈

Now tell me… what queer-owned businesses should I visit next? In Prince Edward County or anywhere in Canada. Drop your favourites below! 👇
