These frames aren’t necessarily traditionally perfect. Titled horizons. People overlapping. Someone entering the edge of a frame. Expressions caught halfway through something. But that’s why these photos represent how it felt to be there. Not forced. Not sanitized. Not staged. The camera feels like another guest moving through the room. Genuine and imperfect in the best way. That feeling of a memory. — Vendors Photo - @lisablanchephoto Venue - @thebettyrestaurant @thesylvanhotel @willowbaratl Florals - @adaptationfloraldesign Entertainment - @cotband Decorations - @wuoh22 Hair & Makeup - @marianclavelmua Dress - @maggiesotterodesigns Jewelry - @aboutvintage gem.art @kayjewelers #TheSylvanHotelATL — #documentaryweddingphotography #newjerseyweddingphotographer #weddingphotojournalism #newjerseybride

This film is not a typical “Thriller”, it’s a film about depression. Before it’s listed as “Horror”, it’s a film diving into Shadow Work. Many humans are suffering from depression, guilt……… some sort of sadness….. unsettling. Some can ignore the waves of momentary sorrow while others drown in it. #TheWomanInTheYard shines light on the moments of darkness no one speaks of. The times we feel alone in discomfort or a memory of sorrow. This was an emotional roller coaster of a project to be apart of. Witnessing the brilliance of everyone involved expressing the inner truth of some in an artistic way. I’m SUPER grateful for my ATLANTA team. I love when we connect💫. Thank you for trusting me once again to lead a project. Thank you for holding down the fort when I had to travel for other commitments. This is a film that needs to be watched not for entertainment…….. for a possible understanding. We never know what the next person is going through. Be kind🌼 #WITY #Ondas

What a challenge this film proved itself to be. Logistically, physically and mentally all at once, all the time. This was a daylight dependent, 30 day shoot so every second counted. Limited on trucks, personnel and time. We had to be very strategic as a department in coordination and communication. This film was shot in Bostwick & Athens, GA. 2 hours away from @keslowcamera which is nestled comfortably in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Only having 1 truck at our disposal from our wonderful teamsters who also took great care of us. Anytime we had a pickup/drop off that driver would depart (with the film break) after lunch and would not return until filming for the day was complete. A 4 hour turnaround on anything coming in or out from downtown. This typically became 5-6 hours with rush hour traffic. B team lead by 1st AC @pedrojea, 2nd AC @masyabeyondblackmon was faced with many unpredictable moments. There were many times we found ourselves in a hole (quite literally) at least twice a week. Pictured above. Thank you to the snake whisperer @allthingswildnga for keeping us protected every step of the way. I must give a thanks to Luka Sharron @keslow Atlanta taking lead on this project and providing us with only the best service in some of the most unpredictable moments. I also thank Daniel Delude @delude_doo, & Natty @natty.co.jp for also being great support. I also should thank Andy my point of contact from @reddigitalcinema who helped me along the way. Most of us had never touch the brand new (at the time) @reddigitalcinema V-RAPTOR XL [X] until this shoot. Which proved to be one of the most versatile tools to achieve a film.

EP 8 Last Ep airs 2nite on @usanetwork 10:30PST As I’m writing this… I’m still in shock on how we were able to cohesively push storytelling to heights I personally had never seen before. Genuinely wanna give thanks to everyone involved, from production to transportation, to locations, to any other department that makes up the lifeblood of a production🙏🏾. But a specific shout out goes to our kick-ass crew who even on take 37 at 5am made my job easy everyday just by being great people. All I can hope is I did the same 🤞🏾 Watch it, don’t watch it, either way. ✌🏾.
