Yesterday's wall with the best boy @pedrozbrp down at marine parade !

My first collab, my second wall, and a heart full of joy and pride 🤍👽

We did a sort of last minute idea and this is what came out haha. Luke is too good at working around what someone else is doing and I'm OBSESSED and HONOURED that he did his own version of my wee creature 😭 The glow on the guys face from it?! Also if you zoom in you'll see Elph written on the hat which was a beautiful touch especially since Brian is how we met. I'm so spoiled to have people so cool and kind in my life. We love you forever, Brian 🤍

Thanks for inviting me out to paint and helping me, you're the beeeest 💫💕

Even when we’re not on stage…

we’re still the ones in the crowd, singing every word, discovering new bands, and leaving with fresh inspiration.

Thank you @knebworthfestival for an unforgettable day. 🤘

Next stop:

Me and @pedrozbrp painted this Iron Maiden piece up a few weeks past down at the marine parade wall. This was just a practise for this last week, where we've both been painting murals for Iron Maidens 50th anniversary Eddfest. Looking forward to showing y'all the results of our labour 🤟🤟🤟

Since the Paint Jam I have had a busy time away so I'm just catching up on posting these great new photos by Ezra.

Briefly this whole event started in 2018 when Ross Blair. Brian McFeely and artistic pals painted the then newly created 360⁰ Street Art Painted Courtyard. Currently there are 35 paintings around the yard, in the Lane and on the Doors in Maritime Lane.

Thanks,

David

Last week artists converged on @quality_yard to pay their respects in paint.

It culminated in the Paint Elph Jam on Saturday, which was part of the Unofficial Leith Festival.

The first picture is a flyer featuring @elphone iconic fisher girl. Brian agreed for the image to be first used on the 2019 flyer, and it’s has appeared on subsequent flyers for the event..

I was unable to attend the event, however, was delighted to be given access today.

Rest In Paint Brian.

Elph @elphone will continue to inspire artists, irregardless of his leaving this mortal coil. It was really neat to be passed on bits of his advice through his friends this weekend 🖤 @quality_yard

This was my 3rd mural sized art/art made with cans. I had a lot of fun by the end of it, and highly recommend picking up some cans and getting big with it 🤘

I didn't get a snap of all the art, either, so you should go check it all out in person if you can make it down to Leith 🌞
