📍Peeld

I have always loved a poke bowl for a work lunch but couldn’t find a good one locally. Well now I have in the shape of @peeld.uk in Walthamstow Village 💖

You’re greeted by a bright, colourful space with the friendliest of staff. You then pick which bowl you fancy. I went for Oahu, which included tuna, mango, carrot, guac and some other delightful toppings 🥑

It was absolutely delicious, filling and nutritious. The sauces really gave it an umami pop, I went for a sesame and teriyaki combo 🍚

And if you think this is just a summer dish, they also do hot bowls perfect for the colder months. I was seriously tempted by the Korean beef brisket from that menu, so I’ll be back for that 👀

Though while it is warm I strongly recommend one of their smoothies, açai bowls or frozen yoghurt. The 5 a day and the froyo, with toppings like granola and dark choc chips made me a v happy bunny🍓

GALA & On The Rye 2026, you absolutely delivered. Sun was out, the vibes were immaculate, and the people came hungry.

Over 21,000 items devoured across the weekend, from jerk chicken wraps and duck burgers to poke bowls, pizza, bao buns and more hot dogs than we can count. Throw in 822 iced coffees and a queue for ice cream that never seemed to die down and you’ve got yourself a proper bank holiday. See you next year.

Aprils album consists of another month full of fun & yummy eats - starting with lots of Easter treats, many matcha desserts 😍 al fresco eating & drinking begun! ☀️🍵

& some dishes I’m still thinking about (& will be for a while!!) @mitsu.london Unadon & matcha tiramisu are the best things I’ve eaten this year 😍 while @itsnourlondon mini egg crunch cakes collection looked like it was going to be so sickly but probably the best chocolate dessert I’ve had & that lot was demolished between 3 of us because it was so good!! 🍫

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… @peeld.uk is the independent Poké place that definitely tops the other spots! 🐠🥑🫐

The biggest bowls of the freshest ingredients mixed with one of their tasty homemade dressings. Seasonal specials & the cutest kids poke bowl/bentro box menu which Maisie loved choosing from & comes with a @piporganiclondon juice! 🍱

The perfect matcha 🍵 And the yummiest açai bowl and fro yos for dessert! 🍓🥭 All with again the freshest, highest quality ingredients you can’t taste! Their actual frozen yoghurt itself is the best I’ve had! And the portions of everything are so generous! 😍

Honestly I’ve I lived close by I’d be eating here daily!! 🩷 I love this place and their lovely staff too! ☺️
