ive had this in my queue for years and finally watched it. it’s actually a lot of fun and i was expecting to look it up and see it mentioned as a cult classic, but no, the reviews are almost all shockingly terrible. the two leads are great, michelle little in particular is freakin adorable and i don’t know why she didnt get more roles like this. it’s also got some fantastic special effects. it made me realize that lighthearted horror rom-coms weren’t really a common thing until the aughts or so. when i say that, i mean a movie where the romance is the central theme. ‘little shop of horrors’ toes the line and ‘once bitten’ maybe but can anybody out there give me some more? and do you actually like this movie or am i alone on a hill?

‘Route 666’ is a 2001 horror movie starring Lou Diamond Phillips aka Chavez y Chavez aka Ritchie Valens, Lori Petty aka Tank Girl aka Keanu’s girlfriend in ‘Point Break’, and Steven Williams aka one of the best character actors of the last 40 years. Seriously, dude always seems to stand out in shit he’s done! For real, go check out his IMDb…you’ll definitely have seen him in something. Oh, you don’t wanna go look at his IMDb? Alrighty then, keep reading my jibberjabber! In ‘Route 666’ Lou Diamond and Lori Petty play US Marshals who are transporting federal witness, Steven Williams, to L.A. to testify against a big mob boss or some shit. That part doesn’t matter. What does matter is that Lou Diamond takes a wrong turn and ends up lost out in the middle of the desert. Dipshit! But is he really lost or is he being guided by unseen forces?? Duh, duh, duuuuh!! Hold that thought…zombies are afoot! And I’m not talking The Zombies of ‘She’s Not There’ fame…I’m talking flesh eating zombies! Except these zombies don’t actually eat human flesh…they kill the living with road equipment like jackhammers and pickaxes. What the what?? Yeah that’s right, Lou Diamond and crew just ran into the zombie ghosts of a long dead prison chain gang. Oh, and one of the zombies is apparently Lou Diamond’s father. You don’t say! There’s that unseen force that was causing the Marshals to get sidetracked out in the desert! Sneaky convict ghost zombie road crew monster things! How are the heroes gonna escape these dastardly dead guys now? Well, Lou Diamond will have to summon every ounce of courage while Steven Williams makes constant wisecracks and Lori Petty is…hmmm…just there I suppose. They 100% could’ve made this movie without her. But to see if she and the others make it out alive, check out this tape and a whole lot more at our eBay store!

And just like that the Stuntperformer Virtual Stunt Hustle is DONE. First i would love to thank @shaan_sharma and @solidarity.us for allowing us to use their platform, this would not have been possible without their generosity. Second lord like to thank @agentnoelle of @stuntaccess for helping me get in touch with the awesome duo @julie_michaels & @peeweepiemonte. Who in turn, went above and beyond in helping us have @cort_hessler and Alex Daniel’s (doesn’t have an IG) join us. And last but definitely not least a big thank you to @garrettxwarren @richarddorton @thetraviswong and @alymadorsey for giving us their valuable time considering their massive work load and family obligations I can’t put into words how much I and the rest of the crew really appreciate it. Without you me and women this wouldn’t have been possible. I’d also like to thank my club crew from the Stuntperformer Hangout who inspired me with their hard work in doing this for a second time. So MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL and looking forward to training and working with you all next year ❤️❤️❤️❤️ #stuntperformerhangout #clubhouse #stuntfamily #stuntcrew #solidarity #stuntmen #stuntwomen #performers #actors #newyear #stuntperformers #action
