It's been one week since our inaugural Fountain City Lit Con event and we still can't get over how amazing it was. Around 550 people came out to enjoy some amazing authors and vendors, and you showed us just how much we need more of this in our community. We all had an incredible time and can't wait to do this again next year. Here's just a few of the pictures we took...hope you all enjoy them. :)

📚📚My Fountain City Lit Con Haul ❤️
I really wanted to make my rounds and haul some more, but alas, my pockets aren't deep enough. 💔
There are several I still have my eyes on though. 👀
The talent around the room was obvious and their passion unmistakable.

This is where I love to be!

The biggest thing about yesterday...Look at God!

I love the way He continues to show up and show out through the book community.

Favorite things:
- Over FIVE HUNDRED people showed up for this fiest ever event. In a resort hotel.
- I had a woman pray for me. Right there in front of all God’s children. Ans she bought a book.
- I had people specifically come to buy the genre. 🎉
- My neighbor sent someone to me who was looking for the stuff I write. 😍
- I had someone who had me on her list of people to see. 👀🤯 What?!
- I had people who thanked me for being there and writing what I write. 🥹
- I was thankful to be invited to this event. I think I was the only Christian Fiction author there and instead of putting me in some back corner, they made sure people could find me.
- I sold more this week than I did last week.
- I might have made a new bookworm at dinner afterwards.
- I felt like I was a part of the group and people were glad to have me there. ❤️✨️
- I had a colleague from work that I don’t see all that often come specifically to have me sign my books for her and for her to buy the rest of them. 🥹
- I had the best time meeting seemingly all God’s children.
- So many people were excited that the event was taking place. There's such a thirst for book fairs and I kind of love it.
- I got to spend the day with the reason I believe in true love in the first place. 💞

I absolutely cannot wait for next year. I hope that they'll have me back because yesterday was amazing. Even if I had to recover. 😅

Huge thanks to @fountaincitylitcon @prattvillesbc & @pegs_pages for the amazing event!

WHAT A DAY! We had around 550 come out today to enjoy our Fountain City Lit Con event. Every vendor and author had an incredible time, and it's all thanks to YOU! You guys showed up and supported us and we can't thank you enough. This was a massive success and we are for sure making this an annual event.

We plan to figure out details this week on when the next one will be and will let you know. This showed us how much we need events like this and how much you want it. You don't have to wait for great author events anymore...this is only the beginning. 🙌

📚✨ Bonus Author Spotlight! ✨📚

We’re excited to welcome author S.A. Perchez to Fountain City Lit Con 2026!

Featured Books:
📖 The Hallow (The Aberration Cycle, Book 1): The Aberration Cycle is a dark fantasy series following those with rare abilities forced to survive in a world that hunts them without mercy. Burdened by what they are and shaped by what they've endured, they are pushed to make impossible choices - where survival, loyalty, and morality rarely align. As the world begins to close in, the question is no longer whether they can survive but what they're willing to become in order to protect what they refuse to lose.

About the Author:
S.A. Perchez is a self-published author from Alabama. After years of losing himself in fantasy worlds, he finally decided to create one of his own. When he's not writing, he and his wife travel whenever they can, drawing inspiration from the places and cultures they visit along the way. At home, their four dogs keep their life loud, chaotic, and full of energy.

📚✨ Bonus Author Spotlight! ✨📚

We’re excited to welcome author Timothy Knight to Fountain City Lit Con 2026!

Featured Books:
📖 Files of the BPRC (3 book series): After a catastrophic accident at a Texas quantum research facility, reality shifted, and the monsters of myth became real. To contain the threat, the Bureau of Preternatural Relations and Control (BPRC) was born. Agent Liam Sullivan, stationed in Mobile, Alabama, knows better than anyone: these creatures aren’t misunderstood heartthrobs, they’re predators. When a feral werewolf pack surfaces in the remote Louisiana woods, breaking every known rule, Liam, his partner Jonesy, and local Deputy Sam Gorman are thrust into a brutal hunt where nothing behaves as expected. As the line between hunter and hunted blurs, survival will cost more than bullets and bravado.

About the Author:
Timothy Knight was born in Bessemer, Alabama, in 1967 and raised there and later along the Alabama Gulf Coast, where he now resides. He spent nearly 27 years in law enforcement, working patrol, investigations, and supervision, and serving as a defensive tactics, firearms, and use-of-force instructor. After retiring in 2014, Tim turned to writing, channeling a career’s worth of experience, dark humor, and “you can’t make this stuff up” moments into his Files of the BPRC series. He now lives on the Alabama Gulf Coast, where he writes, teaches martial arts, tinkers with firearms, and does his best to keep up with his grandchildren and his ever more demanding bulldog mixes.
