We’d rather lose a booking than put our name on an experience we don’t believe in. 🚩

Sounds harsh, but hear us out.

There are 3 things we refuse to compromise on at Drinks by Sandy:

🍋 QUALITY

Fresh ingredients. Proper garnishes. Balanced cocktails. Clean presentation.

There are always cheaper shortcuts — but if they affect what ends up in your guest’s hand, we’re not interested.

⚡ SERVICE

If your guest count realistically requires more bartenders, we’ll tell you.

Putting one bartender behind a busy bar just to make the quote cheaper might save money on paper…

Until your guests are standing in a lineup waiting for drinks.

🥂 GUEST EXPERIENCE

We’re not there just to pour alcohol into a glass.

The menu, setup, presentation, speed of service, interaction with guests and consistency of every drink are all part of the experience.

Because when we take an event, our name is attached to that bar.

We’d rather do fewer events properly than take every booking and compromise on what we stand for.

That’s Drinks by Sandy.

Do you agree — quality over the cheapest quote? 👀👇

Save this if you’re planning an event, and send it to someone who thinks “a bartender is just a bartender.” 🥂

After serving 100+ events, we keep seeing the same bar mistakes over and over again… 👀

1️⃣ Buying way too much alcohol
More isn’t always better. Your guest count, drinking preferences, event duration and cocktail menu should determine your quantities.

2️⃣ Trying to offer too many cocktails
8–10 cocktails sounds impressive — until the bar gets slammed. A well-designed menu of 3–5 drinks keeps service faster and more consistent.

3️⃣ Forgetting about the non-drinkers
Mocktails shouldn’t feel like an afterthought. A good zero-proof option can be just as exciting as a cocktail.

4️⃣ Underestimating ice 🧊
You need ice for shaking, chilling, serving AND keeping everything cold. Running out can slow down the entire bar.

5️⃣ Not planning for peak bar times
Everyone wants a drink at the same time — especially when the event starts and right after dinner. Your bar needs to be prepared for that rush.

6️⃣ Thinking a bar service is just someone pouring drinks
A properly planned event bar includes the menu, setup, ingredients, garnishes, glassware, workflow and service experience.

A great bar should be one less thing for the host to worry about.

That’s what we do at Drinks by Sandy. 🥂

our event bar philosophy: simplicity = luxury.
the perfect bar isn't about having everything, it's about having the right things.

our go-to winning formula:
• 2-3 signature cocktails MAX
• 2 wines
• 2 beers

and that's it. intentional. curated. flawless.
why this always hits:

A faster service = no bottlenecks, no chaos
A shorter lines = no analysis paralysis
A less waste = every bottle has a purpose
A better inventory planning = your faves won't run out
A smoother flow = happier guests, better energy

when the bar is streamlined, our team can focus on what actually matters: the experience.
efficient. elevated. stress-free. that's how we build bars that work.

ready to experience a bar that looks good and performs for your most important events?

let's make it iconic and start your quote today🥂
