Right now, June 2026, as Bafana Bafana (@bafanabafanaofficial) head to the FIFA World Cup taking place in Mexico, Canada and the USA, the kit is our way of showing up wearing our colours like prayer, like pride.

We’ve teamed up with Takealot (@takealotcom) to bring their ‘Year of the Legends’ campaign to life with talented people, real spaces and genuine style. Local tastemaker @esethusosibo | @pen.cllctv styled the full Bafana Bafana merch range — bucket hats, tees, scarves, jerseys — in a warm, personal home space, shot by @reezohassan. This feels to us like the place the merch should belong: in your world.

South Africans have never separated how they feel from how they look and this merch carries all of it: pride, history, identity and style. Tucked into tailored trousers, layered under blazers, worn oversized with wide-leg denim, accessorised with jewellery and bold kicks. Football merch has become a canvas for self-expression in the way that only the most culturally resonant and unifying garments can.

These are some outtakes with Mr Cetyana from time that has flown by ✨
Getting to know Athi in moments off the stage, in the crowds of our favourite bands and on the football pitch has been a blessing — and getting him in front of the camera has been a joy.

I’ve always been struck by Athi’s everlasting thoughtfulness and his ways of honouring others. That level of acknowledgment, appreciation, and care — for those near and far — with this endearing tone of gratitude for all the ways in which time [songs], gifts, words, encouragement and light has been shared. With that being said, his music has often reminded me of Aja Monet’s work which often weaves wonder into words around how poems are offered as tools/mediums/expressions of care for us to *see* us. To which ‘Polymorphism’ is a poem that definitely does what it needs to do. And to know you, as a friend, is to know that we do indeed contain multitudes – there are worlds within. Camagu, truly.

Rooted in rhythm, styled in story.
For @internetathi‘s performance at the Bertha Retreat, we pulled inspiration from the earth — browns, textures, and heritage tones that echo the spirit of African artistry.

The look features rich nature-inspired hues: Pleated balloon pants from @flair.supply.store, @refuse_rfc golfer from S/S 2025 Capsule “uKhamba”, and a bold finishing touch with chocolate brown Snug Hat by @mithathastudios.

Each thread woven to honour the performances — a tribute to African legacy, sound, and soul.
