✨ Pelikan M815 Metal Stripe — Green ✨

There she is. Isn’t she beautiful?

The Pelikan M815 Metal Stripe Blue was love at first sight for me when I discovered it last year, so it probably comes as no surprise that the new emerald green version immediately caught my attention as well.

I managed to snag one with a Broad nib, and I’m already looking forward to inking it up this weekend. The combination of the deep green resin, polished metal stripes, and silver trim is just so elegant… classic Pelikan, but with a little extra attitude.

And now that I have the blue, black, and green together… I really think a darker red version should be next. 🙈

(Unbezahlte Werbung,unpaid ad) Today, I can show you how the beautiful Scribo Piuma Hane Murakumo writes with the eef nib. It writes a bit like an architect grind, so the horizontal line is a bit broader, which I love and it gives the writing a nice look. I also wanted to use a black ink again for quite some time and I think, this pen is the perfect companion. Of course, I chose Scribo nero nero, a smooth and dark black ink, with a bit of a golden sheen to it. I really love this combination, what do you think? 😊

✨ Esterbrook × Accutron Spaceview Estie ✨

A demonstrator pen will make my heart skip a beat every single time — and this one had me the moment I saw it.

The new Esterbrook × Accutron Spaceview Estie takes its inspiration from the iconic 1960 Spaceview watch, which made the mechanics part of the design rather than something to hide. Esterbrook translated that idea beautifully into their very first transparent demonstrator Estie.

The clear acrylic body puts all the little details on display, while the Accutron green grip, warm golden accents, and tuning-fork branding give it just enough color and character. I especially love seeing the custom branded nib through the inner cap, and that golden converter is such a lovely touch.

It feels technical and elegant at the same time, which is probably exactly why I like it so much.

Paired today with one of my own @tonoandlims custom mixes, Toruko — and I have to say, the green is a pretty perfect match.

When I inked this @montblanc for the first time, I played it safe with a grey ink. It looked good, it wrote beautifully, but after a few lines I knew this pen deserved something more.

And yes… I already own more than enough ink. But these three? I bought them with this pen in mind.

For someone who used to say “black pens aren’t for me,” I’ve collected far too many over the past few years — and honestly, several of them have become absolute favorites.

At the top of that list: the Agatha Christie and the Victor Hugo. Two brilliant writers, two stunning designs. The Agatha Christie is a true classic, while the Victor Hugo stands out with its exceptional attention to detail.

They’re almost always inked with the same pairing: Writer’s Blood for the Agatha Christie, and Red Roses for the Victor Hugo.

In my experience, TWSBI Eco fountain pens handle shimmer inks really well. Another big plus is that the pen can be completely disassembled and thoroughly cleaned – one more reason why I like using it for shimmer inks.

So my “Pink Lemonade” got filled with one of my favorite inks: “Van Dieman‘s Love Potion“.
