Exposing myself. 😬 I am a drummer who loves to play grooves and get people moving and dancing. Something I don’t feel comfortable with is playing solos. Because a solo is about telling a story. I’m not that conversational when it comes to that part of playing. 🤷🏽 But sometimes you have to step out of your safe space. That’s what I do in this new band with @pennyleen , and I’m thankful for the opportunity to grow. It will get better. At least I’m working on it, physically, technically, and certainly mentally! Nonetheless, I’m very pleased to see that both @jonne_guan -watch his leg!-, our wonderful keyboard player, and the ice cream-eating li’l boy upfront still feel the rhythm while I was trying to make the best out of it 😅

Belated June photo dump because it took me a month to process everything that happened 🥹

Léonies Final (one of my favourites actually)

Unexpected photo on the way to a very much expected rehearsal

The rehearsal - you don‘t understand how much I love this band!

Tim‘s Final - photo was shot during performing one of my most favourite vocal arrangements I‘ve ever wrote on top of @timmeyart s song „Butterflies“

Georgie‘s final - I was deeply impressed about how personal it was and I absolutely didn‘t expect to be so moved by it. But I really couldn‘t hold back tears on multiple occasions. So grateful that I was allowed to be part of such an emotional performance 🫶🏻

Weekly roadtrip with my favourite driver going home from work.

Amazing photo by @timmeyart under less amazing circumstances because we were in an aquarium 😞
