WIP; Look at that sparkle on this beautiful boy!! He looks like he just popped out of the water. 😁Those of you who know me, fine art is my thing, so you know that this piece is nowhere near finished, wait till you see what I do with him! 😍

This mold is from @makersreusablemold and it is a dream to work with! The finished piece practically falls out of the mold, lol. The white box he is laying in is their 24x16 box mold. My entire apartment is an unlevel mess, and this box allows me to level any surface, like my grandmothers handmade antique farmhouse table that was probably never level a day in it's life because it's over a hundred years old, lol. (Yes, it's completely covered and protected with silicone mats. 🤣)

HAUL POST!!! Let me start by saying that my couch is huge! All these molds but one are 18" long, lol. I bought all of this from the amazing Corne' @makersreusablemold and I spent way more than I planned but she gave me such a good deal that I just couldn't pass anything up, lol. I started with the Mother's Day special, it's a 24"x16" mold box that has leveling feet, bubble levels, and it came with free stuff; a wood board for charcuterie, a tube of silicone, a 16" and 24" divider, a 21"x13" oval insert and two eye candy mica samples. I added the sea turtle mold. Then she told me about the new sea critters she hadn't released yet and I BOUGHT THEM ALL! 🤣 And for good measure, I added the two smaller MDF turtles to make a sea turtle family, haha. TYSM Corne' you are the BEST!! 🥰

Could someone please tell me what causes this? 🤔 Why is it that every mold I buy that is made outside the US & Canada turns orange? None of the molds I buy made by someone here or I make myself do this. And this one is from Sophie and Toffee, I've only had it about a month, and it's not cheap crappy silicone like my Chinese molds. (Which is what I THOUGHT caused it!) If anyone has the answer, please feel free to share, lol.

So, I received a defective mold, leaked like a sieve. Sophie and Toffee is sending me a replacement, but I'm impatient, lol. You'll notice in the video that the edges and points look kind of yucky, that would be where I had to patch leaks, lol. There's also a smudge of something on the number 11, but that came right off. Didn't notice it till after the video was made, lol. I'll do better ones when my replacement comes in. 😊
