The reception is where the celebration really begins — and the details are what make it unforgettable 🤍 Every little thing, from your centerpiece choices to your seating chart display, plays a part in setting the vibe for the night. Tip for couples: If you can, plan to have your reception space fully set before guests are invited in. That way, we can capture the full setup exactly how you envisioned it! It’s one of those parts of the day that goes by so fast, but the photos will keep it alive forever. Once the party starts, the laughter, toasts, and dance floor take over… and that’s when the magic really happens 🥂 Follow along for more tips for the best wedding ever, and if you are looking for a fun and stress free wedding photography experience, head over to the link in my bio! ⬆️ Vendors: Venue: @lanternroomcle Wedding coordinator: @penthouseeventscle Floral: @urbanorchidfloral Rentals: @lirentsevents Catering: @olivebranchcateringcle Photobooth: @rak_photobooths Entertainment: @clekeys Desserts: @sweetrevolutionllc Hair: @rania_hair_salon Makeup: @rubys_beauty_bar Cake: @ritosbakery Dress designer: @jennyyoonyc Dress shop: @bhldn @anthropologie Bridal shoes: @jimmychoo Groom shoes: @louboutinworld Content creator: @dayofbykendra Photography: @hannahcessna_photography Hotel: @hiltoncleveland Portrait location: @clevelandmuseumofart #clevelandohioweddingphotographer #weddingtrends #weddinginspiration

There’s a certain magic to doing a first look ✨ Just the two of you, tucked away from the crowd, seeing each other for the first time. The nerves fade, the chaos melts, and suddenly it’s just you two in your own little bubble. 🥹✨ A first look isn’t just about logistics (though it does help your timeline). It’s about connection - slowing down for one heart-stopping moment before the whirlwind of “I dos.” Here’s why couples are obsessed with doing one: ✨ You actually get time alone. (Crazy, right?) ✨It eases those pre-ceremony jitters and lets you be fully present for your vows. ✨ It makes the timeline smoother, so you can enjoy more of your cocktail hour. ✨ It’s a moment you’ll never forget. Just you, your person, and that look. 💕 Follow along for more tips for the best wedding ever, and if you are looking for a fun and stress free wedding photography experience, head over to the link in my bio! ⬆️ Vendors: Venue: @lanternroomcle Wedding coordinator: @penthouseeventscle Floral: @urbanorchidfloral Rentals: @lirentsevents Catering: @olivebranchcateringcle Photobooth: @rak_photobooths Entertainment: @clekeys Desserts: @sweetrevolutionllc Hair: @rania_hair_salon Makeup: @rubys_beauty_bar Cake: @ritosbakery Dress designer: @jennyyoonyc Dress shop: @bhldn @anthropologie Bridal shoes: @jimmychoo Groom shoes: @louboutinworld Content creator: @dayofbykendra Photography: @hannahcessna_photography Hotel: @hiltoncleveland Portrait location: @clevelandmuseumofart #clevelandohioweddingphotographer #weddingtrends #weddinginspiration

The one thing nobody really tells you about your wedding day? ✨ It goes by so much faster than you could ever imagine. ✨ One moment you’re slipping into your dress, the next you’re walking down the aisle, and before you know it you’re dancing under the lights and wondering how the day is already over. Here’s the truth: no matter how perfectly you plan, the day will feel like a beautiful blur. ✨ So what can you do? Slow down on purpose. Take a second to hold your partner’s hand and look around the room. Hug your parents a little tighter. And when the two of you sneak away for golden hour portraits, use it as a chance to breathe, reconnect, and just be together. Your photos will freeze the moments you didn’t even realize were happening but being present in those moments as they unfold? That’s the part nobody talks about, and it’s the real magic. 🤍 Follow along for more tips for the best wedding ever, and if you are looking for a fun and stress free wedding photography experience, head over to the link in my bio! ⬆️ Vendors: Venue: @lanternroomcle Wedding coordinator: @penthouseeventscle Floral: @urbanorchidfloral Rentals: @lirentsevents Catering: @olivebranchcateringcle Photobooth: @rak_photobooths Entertainment: @clekeys Desserts: @sweetrevolutionllc Hair: @rania_hair_salon Makeup: @rubys_beauty_bar Cake: @ritosbakery Dress designer: @jennyyoonyc Dress shop: @bhldn @anthropologie Bridal shoes: @jimmychoo Groom shoes: @louboutinworld Content creator: @dayofbykendra Photography: @hannahcessna_photography Hotel: @hiltoncleveland Portrait location: @clevelandmuseumofart #clevelandohioweddingphotographer #weddingtrends #weddinginspiration

Here's what we've been up to lately...honored to create a lush, Tuscan-inspired wedding for an amazing couple, Kassandra and Jason. It was floriferous, fruity, and fabulous! Providing more than flowers, it's what we do best: creating tablescapes for themed events. We took Kassandra's vision and used cases of fresh lemons, figs, and grapes to take a table from ordinary to extraordinary. We're a team of interior and exterior designers, so we thank each of our couples for trusting us to provide meaningful and beautiful celebrations! Congratulations and blessings to the lovely Mr. and Mrs. Petsock. 💕💕 9-13-2025 Venue: #thelanternroomcle #Penthouseeventscle Ceremony: Cleveland History Center Coordination: #engagedwithnora Floral: jolene.thespottedorchid #clevelandweddingflorist #weddingflorist #clevelandflorist #weddinginspiration #weddings #cle

As a wedding photographer, here are the things I always encourage couples to keep in mind as you plan your day: Your Wedding = Your Story 💕 – Forget what’s “trendy” or what you should do. Choose traditions, details, and moments that feel like you. Build in Breathing Room 🌿 – The day goes by quickly, and rushing can steal the joy. A little buffer time in your timeline gives you space to breathe and soak it all in. People Over Perfection 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 – The moments you’ll treasure most are hugs from grandparents, tears from your best friends, and laughter with your favorite people, not whether a detail went “perfectly.” Be Present ✨ – Trust your vendors, let go of the small stuff, and focus on the reason you’re there: marrying your best friend. Photos are Forever 📸 – The cake will be eaten, the music will fade, but your photos will hold every laugh, every tear, and every kiss for generations to come. At the end of the day, remember: this isn’t just an event, it’s the beginning of your marriage. Let it be a reflection of your love, your joy, and your story. 🤍 Follow along for more tips for the best wedding ever, and if you are looking for a fun and stress free wedding photography experience, head over to the link in my bio! ⬆️ Vendors: Venue: @lanternroomcle Wedding coordinator: @penthouseeventscle Floral: @urbanorchidfloral Rentals: @lirentsevents Catering: @olivebranchcateringcle Photobooth: @rak_photobooths Entertainment: @clekeys Desserts: @sweetrevolutionllc Hair: @rania_hair_salon Makeup: @rubys_beauty_bar Cake: @ritosbakery Dress designer: @jennyyoonyc Dress shop: @bhldn @anthropologie Bridal shoes: @jimmychoo Groom shoes: @louboutinworld Content creator: @dayofbykendra Photography: @hannahcessna_photography Hotel: @hiltoncleveland Portrait location: @clevelandmuseumofart #clevelandohioweddingphotographer #weddingtrends #weddinginspiration

Your details deserve their own spotlight on your wedding day ✨ To make sure nothing gets missed, here’s a quick guide to what to set aside for your photographer: Wedding Details Checklist ✨ All 3 rings (yes, even the groom’s band) ✨ Invitation suite + save the date ✨ Shoes + jewelry ✨ Perfume/cologne bottles ✨ Vows or vow books ✨ Any sentimental extras (grandma’s locket, a handwritten note, heirloom fabric, etc.) Pro tip: Place everything in a small box or bag before the big day, bonus points if you hand it off to a bridesmaid or family member so it’s all ready when I arrive! That way, I can capture your details while you’re enjoying your morning with zero stress.
