Scored a set of clamp on CDJ mounts that are well built and the right angle. Removed the clamps and bolted em down. I’m keeping these 1200’s hooked up until they sell. Next I need to build a proper record dump on the side to play from, something with storage below it. Almost done here. Gotta grab some cables off my van.
FYI, if you’re looking to get started playing vinyl, go see @harrysrecordsnj about signing up for #opendecks @pepelocooo00 books the DJs. Follow them both to get started!

I asked Dave from @harrysrecordsnj for his personal selections for all the vibes I’m spinning in my upcoming sets this month. Here’s what he chose for me:

[HOUSE]
💿 THE FORGOTTEN DREAM (WAVES RECORDS 2001 RE-RELEASE) - I-Ching (1999)

[HIP HOP]
💿 BULLION PRESENTS… THE BEACH BOYS VS J DILLA - PET SOUNDS IN THE KEY OF DEE - Bullion (2007)

[JAZZ]
💿 SATURDAY NIGHT / SUNDAY NIGHT AT THE BLACKHAWK, SAN FRANSISCO - The Cal Tjader Quartet (1962)

[DEALERS CHOICE -> REGGAE/DUB]
💿 MOS DUB - Mos Def, Max Tannone (2010)

Special thanks to @pepelocooo00 for hosting the event last week and of course Dave at @harrysrecordsnj for keeping me stocked up 🫂

Tag a record shop keeper I should go bother next
