If you’ve ever been told your creative hobby won’t go anywhere… this one’s for you 🙋🏼‍♀️

No one really mentions that the things you start in your 20s — the little passion projects you do purely for joy — can become something so much bigger if you just keep going.

That’s exactly how this all began for us. Just two dog-obsessed humans taking photos for fun… and slowly realising that what felt like a passion project was becoming something bigger. A community. A purpose. A business we’re genuinely proud of.

We didn’t set out thinking, “Let’s build a pet photography business. We just followed the excitement, the creativity, the joy of capturing dogs being their truest little selves. And over time, that hobby became our full reality — ongoingly booked shoots, interstate travel, 100+ 5⭐ reviews, and the most supportive dog-parent community we could’ve asked for.

So if your dream feels unconventional, or people doubt it because it doesn’t look like the “standard” path… don’t let that shake you.

Hobbies grow. Niches thrive. And the things you love most can absolutely become the thing you’re known for.

Back yourself. Build it anyway.
Let it become bigger than you imagined 🐾✨

If anyone would like to organise a Pay What You Want shoot in Rocklea, these are still on offer! My usual prices are $140 for a one hour shoot where you get 10 photos, but if that’s not affordable then feel free to offer what is!

Lost in the woods, found in the light🌲✨

There’s something about the way Pepper’s black coat contrasts so beautifully with the warm autumn tones — like she was made to stand out in this golden forest.

We shot here on the weekend but sadly the rainy weather cancelled our shoots early 🥲
