December has been a whirlwind! Packed with holiday events, reunions, and lots of reflection time. We lost my last uncle on my dad’s side. He will be greatly missed. I want to thank everyone who’s been supporting us with bookings, picking up merch, and showing ♥️ all year long. Here’s to a healthy, prosperous, love-filled, and happy 25’ with more in store! Cheers 🥂 and see you on the other side 🎉🥳🙏🏼

Why do some cats have half an ear?

This is called an ear tip! Its a common practice among TNR groups to signal that this cat has already been fixed and vaccinated, and does not need to be trapped again!

Sometimes these kitties are too nice to go back on the streets, so they come to RMFR to find their fur-ever home!

My heart is full of joy and thankfulness for all the blessings in my life … and you are one of them!

I’ve been quiet online for a couple of weeks, recharging and busy with my family. It’s been a busy time in our little life, and I’ve inadvertently taken a break from social media that will continue for a week or two more.

On Christmas Eve tonight, we exchanged gifts, as my Dutch relatives like to do. Is that a tradition where you live? Or do you take part in the Icelandic tradition of Jolabokaflod? We tried it when the kids were younger, and we used to use a lovely Advent calendar down by my mum, with little pockets for treats, toys and treasure hunt clues. Next year we’ll set it up for my little nieces.

My household are pretty low key about traditions, but we care a lot about family, enjoy giving, and always love thinking about what the Lord has done for us.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy Christmas! 🌟 Whatever the upcoming days look like for you, simple or special, social or solo, I hope you find yourself touched by joy and beauty and love.

Love,
Vanessa
