Art is an expression inspired by culture. Success is repetition driven by hustle.

LOWRIDER ART — CHAPTER #1
PEQUE VRS

Real art. Real culture. Real street identity.

What began over five years ago in the forgotten laneways near Caringbah Station has grown into Sutherland Shire’s much loved street art festival. Born from the idea of transforming overlooked urban spaces, Walk the Walls turned once avoided laneways into vibrant, welcoming open air galleries.

With support from the NSW Government, the project - led by Sutherland Shire Council - has drawn thousands of visitors and reimagined what our local streets can be - safe, creative and full of life! Its success has also sparked a wider movement to bring colour and energy to other parts of the community through public art.

Today, Caringbah and Cronulla’s laneways showcase works from some of Australia’s most celebrated artists, including the collaboration piece in this video by artists @Mayonaize and @Peque_vrs.
