🐾 KNOWING YOUR SHAR-PEI #1

October is Pet Wellness Month, so what better time to kick off our new weekly series: Knowing Your Shar-Pei.

And #1 might be the most important of all:

❤️ Know what’s normal for YOUR Pei.

Shar-Pei can be pretty stoic, and sometimes the first sign that something isn’t right is simply that they’re acting a little… different.

Pay attention to their normal:

🐾 Appetite & water intake
🐾 Energy level
🐾 Skin & coat
🐾 Ears & eyes
🐾 Bathroom habits
🐾 Movement & mobility
🐾 Mood & behavior

You know your dog better than anyone. Those little changes you notice can sometimes be the very things worth paying attention to.

Pet wellness isn’t only about vet visits. It’s also about knowing your dog.

And nobody gives us more to learn than a Shar-Pei. ❤️

Pei parents — what’s one tiny change in your Shar-Pei that immediately tells you something is “off”?

🐾🫶🏽Thanks to our Pei friends sharing their “normal”:

Caught doing what normal dogs do!!?

The horror lol. Forget about Tongue Action. Tummy Action & Leg Action.

@bella_rebel_chen_chyou_cash The Queen thought she would expose her tummy for the world to see lol.

@waltersdailybite please confirm with the press that no footage has been taken of us.
Definitely don't need the Pupparazzi involved.
