Perfect Edifiers Devotional January 14, 2025 Topic: Life Is Simple Text: “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” Ecclesiastes 12:13 (KJV) Lesson: Viewing things from God’s perspective makes life very simple. God Almighty is a good God; He created all things for His good pleasure. He loved mankind so much that He gave the whole earth to it (Genesis 1:26). He designed a simple lifestyle for mankind in the Garden of Eden; He told Adam to tend the Garden and keep it. Mankind made life complicated for itself by believing in a lie from the devil and disobeying God. Dear beloved, don’t make life complicated for yourself by living in disobedience to God. Your whole duty on earth is to fear God and obey His commandments (Isaiah 1:19). Everything God has said in His Word is true; therefore, believe it and take it seriously. A life filled with obedience and godly fear will lead to peace, joy, prosperity, and glory. Let’s Pray Together: My eternal Father, thank You for making life so simple. Yes, fearing You and obeying Your commandment is the whole duty of mankind. I have taken heed to Your Word to make life simple for myself by obeying Your Word and fearing You as well so that You can continually bless me in Jesus’ name. Amen! www.perfectedifiersfoundation.org.ng

Perfect Edifiers Devotional January 13, 2025 Topic: Who Do You Say I Am? Text: “But what about you?” He asked. “Who do you say I am?” Matthew 16:15 (NIV) Lesson In today’s world, people have different ideas about Jesus. Some see Him as a wise teacher, a prophet, or even a religious leader but today, Jesus is asking you the same question: “Who do you say I am?” Your answer determines how you live your life. If you truly believe that Jesus is the Son of God, it will show in your choices, your priorities, and how you treat others Sadly, many people today live with the mindset of “I love my life, and I live it my way.” But as Christians, we don’t live for ourselves. We live for Christ (Galatians 2:20). The world teaches self-promotion, self-love, and self-confidence, but the Bible teaches self-denial and Christ-centered living. Knowing Jesus is not just about attending church or having religious knowledge. It’s about having a personal relationship with Him, acknowledging Him as your Lord, and letting His Word guide your life. It’s about trusting Him in difficult times, showing His love to others, and standing firm in your faith when the world pressures you to compromise. Jesus doesn’t want to be a part of your life; He wants to be the center of your life. When you truly recognize Him as the Christ, it changes everything. You no longer live for temporary pleasures or human approval you live to glorify God in all you do. Let’s Pray Together: Dear Lord, thank You for opening my eyes to see who Jesus truly is. Help me to live a life that honors You and shows others the truth of Christ. May my words and actions reflect my faith in Jesus as the Son of the living God. In Jesus' name, Amen. www.perfectedifiersfoundation.org.ng
