So my buddy @chachastrength asked the question how we handle adversity or fear? 1. Fight against it 2. Use it 3. Step out & do it 4. I am not in control. Be humbled & trust God. All solid responses. How do you handle this on the mat & even in life? #provethemwrong #judoka #jiujitsulifestyle #sixbladesjiujitsu

🎯 FIRST HOLE-IN-ONE! ⛳️ A solid round and epic hole today at Watters Creek! Played the course from the tips at 7,000 yards and finished with a +3 (75) while getting in some early preparation for next month’s All-American Tour event. But the highlight came on Hole 9… 162 yards. New PING i540 7-iron. Titleist ProV1x. One swing. One ace. 🏌️‍♂️🔥 Really encouraged by how my game is progressing, especially playing from the tips. Still plenty of work ahead, but days like this make it all worth it. @ryanhittgolf @performancejuice @sportsacademypga @pingtour @pcreekgolf @titleist 75 (+3) | 7,000 yards | First Hole-in-One 🎯 #HoleInOne #JuniorGolf #TrustTheProcess #KeepGrinding #Memories

Wrapped up my last AAT @ntxpga of summer - and without a doubt, it was the longest and hottest tournament I’ve ever played. I was proud to bounce back from an opening 83 with a 77 in the final round. I’m excited about the progress my game has made this summer. A big thank you to @ryanhittgolf for the swing and strategy support, and to @performancejuice for helping me perform with confidence and intention on the course! The work behind the scenes is paying off. I’m excited for the fall season @pcreekgolf and continuing the journey. #juniorgolf #studentathlete #trusttheprocess #letsgooooo

Talent and equipment carried the load. The mind was ignored. Most golfers chase three more yards instead of training the part of the game that actually lowers scores. The Tournament Confidence Program becomes a weapon in the bag. Confidence stops being random and starts being reliable.

Combat taught the power of calm under uncertainty. Intel is never perfect. The environment can shift instantly. In high-stakes moments, box breathing protected clarity, fluid movement, and decision-making. Calm kept heart rate down and access to training online. If it works when lives are on the line, it can steady performance on the golf course.

Emotional regulation protects elite performance. Lose control and decision-making disappears. Anger creates tension. Tension disrupts sequencing. Awareness of triggers and body signals builds consistency under pressure.

A golfer’s internal dialogue reveals their performance identity. The first story told after a shot shapes the next one. Call a par “pedestrian” and the brain hears limitation. Feed it belief and it hears capability. Purpose-driven affirmations build identity before the shot is even struck.

🚨 NEW EPISODE DROPS TOMORROW 🚨 In this episode of The Athlete’s Resilience Center (ARC), Drew Hopper returns for his 3rd appearance — and this time, he’s officially launching his 30 Day Tournament Confidence Program and book (you can find the book on Amazon now) designed to help golfers play their best when pressure is highest. After completing and publishing an 87-day study showing a 67% increase in player confidence, Drew built a step-by-step system that trains emotional control, self-belief, and competitive composure like a skill, not a motivational slogan. This episode breaks down the why behind the program and exactly how it works. 🎯 In this conversation, we dive into: • The research behind the 30 Day Tournament Confidence Program • Why confidence isn’t built during good rounds, it’s built after adversity • The biology of pressure and how to regulate your nervous system on demand • Athletic mind vs. analytical mind and how to stop overthinking mid-round • Self-belief, performance identity, and eliminating blow-up holes • Why raising the floor matters more than chasing your ceiling If you’re a golfer, coach, or parent looking for a structured, science-backed system to build tournament confidence, this episode gives you a full behind-the-scenes look at the program and book release. 🎙️ Episode drops tomorrow. Don’t miss it.

V = Visualize. 🧠👁️⛳ In baseball, hitters react in a split second to a 90+ mph fastball. In golf, the ball is static — so to reach that same reactionary athletic state, you have to feed your brain the right inputs. Stand behind the ball and watch the full shot play out in your mind like a movie — ball flight, shape, landing, and roll — in real time. 🎬 That mental image activates your athletic vision system, so when you step in, your body already knows what to do. Visualization isn’t fluff. It’s a performance tool. ⚡

A = Affirm. 🧠⛳ Once you’ve calmed your nervous system and reset into the present, it’s time to program your subconscious for peak performance. Affirmations are position-specific “I am” statements that reinforce your performance identity: 👉 “I’m a world-class chipper — I get this up and down 100% of the time.” 👉 “I’ve hit this shot perfectly before — I can do it again.” This isn’t fake. You’re reminding yourself of when you’ve already done it — using tools like Goggins’ cookie jar to anchor belief in action. Peak performance starts with the story you tell yourself. 🗣️🔥

R = Reset. 🧠⛳ Most golfers resist a bad shot instead of accepting it — and that resistance sends them down a path of negativity. Instead, the key is to anchor into the present: ☀️ Feel the sun on your skin 🐦 Listen to the birds 🥤 Take a sip of water or Gatorade 👣 Use all your senses Because the moment you accept what happened and reset, you take back control of your mind and your round. Bad shots don’t have to turn into bad holes.
