We had a chance to catch up with 2030 RHP/INF Anthony Gomez from Mandeville HS tonight! Anthony joined the Knights prior to the 2026 summer and has been working his tail off to get better in every aspect of his game. Tonight was another example of that commitment. Anthony started his evening at 5:00 PM with PPA, working with Northshore Director Colin Rodgers, and wrapped up the night with another hour of hitting alongside Knights coach and alum Tyler James! That’s how you get better — keep showing up, keep putting in the work, and keep stacking days. Keep working hard, Anthony! The work will pay off! 💪⚾️ #4L

Super pumped to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Tulane University! First, I’d like to thank God for giving me the ability to play this beautiful game of baseball and for blessing me with this opportunity. Second, I want to thank my family for all of their love, support, and sacrifices throughout the years. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. I’d also like to thank every coach who has been a part of my journey and helped develop me into the player and person I am today. I’m extremely grateful for everyone who has believed in me, pushed me, and supported me along the way. Lastly, I want to thank the Tulane coaches for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity. I’m beyond blessed and excited to call New Orleans home and to continue my baseball career as a Green Wave! Couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead. Roll Wave! 🌊⚾️💚💙 #RollWave #tulanebaseball

📈 2028 RHP Greyson Rodrigue put together an outstanding summer for Knights Knation 16U American and continues to establish himself as one of Louisiana’s rising arms in the 2028 class. ⚾ Summer Stats • 23.0 IP • 16 H • 4 ER • 28 K • 1.217 ERA • .195 BAA Greyson led the 16U American staff in innings pitched while consistently attacking hitters with an 83-85 MPH fastball and a true hammer curveball that spun 2700+ RPM. His ability to get ahead was a huge key to his success, recording an outstanding 73% first-pitch strike rate all summer. The future is bright for this talented right-hander, and University High has a good one. Looking forward to watching Greyson continue to develop! #KnightsKnation #4L @greysonrod1 @uhscubathletics @maruccisports @prepbaseballla @2dsportsbaseball @pg_scouting @curvesportsbaseball @performancepitchingacademyppa @ppacommandcenter @tylermnaquin
