feeling so incredibly blessed and grateful for such a beautiful summer of work 🪷

this summer, i had the opportunity to teach and choreograph in so many different spaces, meet so many beautiful artists, and share and create in ways that i’ll carry with me forever. it was my first summer stepping into so many new experiences as a teacher and choreographer, and i feel so lucky that this was only the beginning.

i’ve learned so much about myself, my voice, my artistry, and what it means to be on the other side of the room. i was so blessed to teach dancers of all ages and witness how deeply dance can touch and evolve through every stage of life. there’s something so beautiful about seeing what this craft can connect, no matter where you are in your journey.

i’ve left every single class and every space with so much inspiration, taking something from each room with me. there’s something so surreal about pouring into young dancers when i was once that young artist myself.

these are the moments i feel so incredibly blessed to experience in this life. to create, to connect, to teach, to learn, and to share something i love so deeply with others.

to every studio, convention, dancer, and beautiful space that welcomed me this summer, thank you. thank you for trusting me, for allowing me to share my work, and for giving me the space to continue growing alongside your artists.

my love for this craft, for creating, and for watching dancers grow is something i’m so passionate about. i’m beyond grateful for every opportunity, every room, and every person who made this summer so special.

Looking back at my very first day at PDA to my very last… ❤️

It’s hard to put into words what this place has meant to me. So many memories, friendships, lessons, laughs, happy tears, and moments I’ll never forget. It was where I grew up, learned to believe in myself, and fell even more in love with dance.

Saying goodbye isn’t easy, especially when it wasn’t expected. But I’ll always be grateful for the memories and the people who were part of my journey.

As one chapter ends, another begins. I’m excited for what’s ahead.

Thank you for everything.

Crazy how fast this week @thedanceawards came and went… 😢

There are so many things to say, so many people to thank, and so many dancers to recognize. To say I’m proud of this team is truly an understatement. They showed up, trusted the work they put in all year, and fought for everything they wanted. Seeing that dedication rewarded was incredibly special, but more than anything, they left everything on that stage, and it spoke for itself. 🥰 Watching the fight, the relentless work ethic, and the determination each of you brought into this week was beyond inspiring. Thank you for trusting me and allowing me to be part of your journey. This week was about so much more than awards, it was about growth, resilience, unforgettable memories, and proving to yourselves what you’re capable of. I couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you. ❤️✨

On top of an already unforgettable week, I am so honoured and beyond grateful to have received Best Choreographer and Best in Jazz @thedanceawards What a dream come true. 🤍

I still can’t believe this is real. I remember setting this goal for myself last year and pouring so much time, care, and passion into my work throughout the season. To now be standing on that stage receiving these awards is something I will always cherish, but the awards themselves are not what mean the most to me.
What means the most is the trust, support, and belief that brought me to this moment. The trust my dancers placed in me and my vision, the endless support from my family, my PDA team, and the mentors who encouraged me every step of the way, that is what made this possible. These awards are simply a reflection of the love, hard work, and passion that we all poured into this together.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me, trusting me, and allowing me to continue doing what I love. This moment means more than I could ever put into words. 🤍

Nationals 2026 was amazing! I am forever grateful to my teachers @performingdanceartsvaughan @madisonffoley @niccarpeneto_fitness @amulder12 @kristencconte @ashleydaychak @patrickblain @sheona.bell for believing in me and always encouraging me to keep going! It is because of all of you that I have come so far and grown into the person I am today. To my family, thank you for always being my #1 supporters helping me to reach my goals, even when things get hard. You have helped me be resilient and persevere through every challenge. Thank you @sampaige.dnc for my amazing tap solo this year. I loved performing it! To my sisters, @carliwaldy @laurenwaldy and “PDA little sister” Natalie I am so proud of you all! You shined so bright this week. To my entire PDA team, you each inspire me everyday and I am truly blessed to be part of such an incredible and supportive team. I love you all more than words can say! 💜💜💜

I am a stronger person and dancer because of you! You have taught me what true resilience means and how to always trust the process and keep reaching for my goals. To my family and friends, thank you for your support always, I love you all so much! To @thedanceawards I am beyond grateful for the class scholarship and can’t wait to keep learning next season! To the graduates this year, I will miss you all more than words can say. You all inspire me everyday and I will continue to cheer you on in your next chapter. You have all helped me find my voice in more ways than I can express in words. Thank you to my family for always supporting me, my sisters @emmawaldy @carliwaldy and all of my “PDA big sisters” for being there for me. I love you all so much!!! This year I had to say goodbye to some of my favourite people! To all of the graduates I will miss you and will be cheering you on in your next chapter.
