Today is one for the record books. Our first 2.4L, 16V Four Cam engine roared to life. Built by @perfpow with our made to order @jimtorresracing Flat Fan and bespoke @swindonpower kit made exclusively for @runge_cars with custom CNC bits from @jefflangendoerfer . Thank you to @bcweyer for tackling the electrical and initial ECU setup to get us up and running! The project has been no small undertaking. I cannot thank these guys enough for all their hard work!!

Many people have questioned if it was possible… we are happy to report the 1:1 scale 3D printed Flat 8 mockup test fit looks promising as shown here in a 1973 - 911! While the design and engineering team are busy manufacturing the final details of our new Flat 8 engine abroad, Fin has had the @bambulab_official #H2S running nonstop for 3 months printing this full scale model out of PLA filament. This model allows us to mockup our newest chassis design and test fitment not only in our cars but a certain German, rear engined aircooled sports car. With the pre-production engines slated for dyno testing just weeks from now… our excitement is at an all time high! #Flat8 #luftgekuhlt #rungecars #hetzerco

If a picture is worth a thousand words, here’s 20K. 2025 was an absolutely amazing year, in fact it’s almost a blur. From launching multiple new designs to the Four cylinder, 16V-911 Four Cam and our 32V Flat 8 we have been going nonstop. I believe 2026 will be a year of fruition, we’ve worked relentlessly on designs and engineering with several projects ready to go into production. We are so excited to share what’s in store and can’t thank you all enough for the continued support. 🍻
