[co-anchor peppa 🌶️] good evening and welcome to #inthemeows.
[co-anchor cheezel 🧀] tonight we’re coming to you pre–recorded from #bbcm5thannualconference in the galápagos islands, hosted last weekend by angel professor brownie @cattiehatter with dobby @dobby_snaggletooth.
[senior correspondent luna 🌝] the galápagos are famous for their large number of endemic species, which were studied by charles darwin in the 1830s and inspired his theory of evolution by natural selection.
[🌶️] in earlier times, the archipelago was used by english pirates to hide out while attacking spanish fleets carrying gold and silver.
[🧀] whilst we didn’t find any buried treasure, we created many memories to treasure — swimming with sea lions at las tintoreras, hiking cerro tijereteras for the coastal views, meeting giant tortoises, iguanas, penguins, fur seals and blue–footed boobies, and relaxing with the BBCM crew at our hotel.

[co-anchor peppa 🌶️] good evening and welcome to #inthemeows.
[co-anchor cheezel 🧀] we woke up this morning feeling green. kermit the frog tells us “it’s not easy being green, having to spend each day the color of the leaves”.
[senior correspondent luna 🌝] but green is the colour of spring; fresh cut grass, baby birds, buzzy bees, blooming flowers, growth, rebirth and renewal.
[🌶️] apparently, green is the most restful color for the eye, it creates a sense of balance, peace and tranquility.
[🧀] green means GO. it is the colour of joy, vitality and wellbeing.
[🌝] spiritually, green is connected to the heart chakra; the center of love, compassion, empathy, and forgiveness.
[🌶️] of course, in slang, green means inexperienced or naive, stemming from the concept of unripe fruit. it’s also associated with feelings of jealousy and envy.
[🧀] oh, peppa! green is my favorite color. i love it even more than blue and yellow combined.
[🌝] (giggles because peppa clearly doesn’t understand cheezel’s joke). green is the perfect colour to celebrate the birthdays of remington, winchester and pepper and remember dear 🌈angel bättis, with love and joy @remington_winchester_cats #rwploveandjoypawty. happy birthday friends.

[anchor biscuit 🍪] good evening and welcome to #inthemeows; your intergalactic meows program.
[repawter tabitha tabby 🐈 ] while our producer was holidaying in WA, we joined phantom @prince_phantom07 and sugar @sugasugakittygirl at the #sugasugakittyclub on planet mars, to celebrate elwood’s miraculous story of survival @elwood_security_cat (featured on #inthemeows last month).
[repawter jemima white socks 🐈⬛] we also managed to catch “blu’s ziggy stardust and the nebulites” live at the mars bar, featuring blu @l.ondonblu on vocals, phantom on lead guitar and various martian musicians (all promoting love and togetherness ❤️).

[co-anchor peppa 🌶️] good evening and welcome to #inthemeows.
[co-anchor cheezel 🧀] it was getting a wee bit crowded behind the meows desk, so we’re taking a break from our #2ndonairiversary celebrations to visit the “golden age of radio” — the decade of victory rolls, captain america, tupperware, WW2, the atomic bomb, gangster movies, the UN, and so many impawtant inventions, like kidney dialysis, the microwave oven, frisbees, silly putty and KITTY LITTER!
[senior correspondent luna 🌝] a reminder, viewers, that the first day of summer camp 2024 #rosieandmilo8thbdaysummercamp is fast approaching — only 6 sleeps to go before we depart with the mobile broadcast bus. #madamepeppaofsummercamp will be making her annual appearance, and of course, the #peppaandlunapawtography mobile photo booth will be on site.
