SAAC | Recap of the LSC SAAC Retreat 2026-27 hosted by Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas.

SAAC members Perla Flores (Cross Country) and Tucker Smith (Football) had the opportunity to represent MSU Texas Athletics at the 2026-27 Lone Star Conference SAAC Retreat. Alongside student-athlete leaders from across the conference, our members participated in leadership meetings, collaborative experiences, and discussions focused on strengthening the student-athlete experiences on our campuses and throughout the Lone Star Conference.
Here’s to a new school year, Mustangs! 🐎

This year has taught me many things and overall made me a better person. Even though my decision was late to come here I’m very thankful I did. Because if i hadn’t I wouldn’t have been able to meet the team that supports and pushes me to be better. Even though there were many setbacks and challenges, I couldn’t quit because I love it here!! 💛❤️🐎#GOMUSTANGS

Once a stang, always a stang 🐎

These have been the best four years of my life, and I couldn't have asked for better people to spend it with 🫶🏾

Couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my birthday…on the road with this team at the LSC Championships. Proud is an understatement. The way these girls competed, supported each other, and represented the program all weekend was special to be part of. #TheHERd
