Last Thursday evening, Charlie and I opened our inaugural show at Permanent Location – a funny little 4x4m pavilion in East London, by Victoria Park, that we’ve taken over until the end of next year to run as an exhibition space.

The show brings together David Annesley and Luke Samuel – two artists of vastly different generations whose practices are rooted in a shared interest in form, colour and material.

It’s a privilege to be able to present David’s handmade maquettes, which have never been exhibited before, alongside two new paintings by Luke.

Thanks to everyone who came by and to everyone who helped make it happen.
