Deeply honored to be named to GOLF Magazine’s Top 100 Teachers in America for 2026-27. 🙏 This recognition reflects every mentor who invested in me—both great and small deposits—all the fellow teachers who aided and challenged my thinking with passion and dedication to their craft, my colleagues who believe in me and encourage me to keep evolving, and especially my students. You provide me with an opportunity to help and coach your games—the heart of my role as a teacher. This honor is as much for everyone who has met me, studied with me, and worked alongside me as it is mine. Teaching golf has provided me with an amazing perspective on life and connecting with people all around the world. What makes the Top 100 Teachers community so special is the bond we all share to help, support, and engage with one another, regardless of background or beliefs. @golf_com Magazine and @daviddenunzio have created a special group of hyper-productive, golf-crazed, fanatical teachers who are energizing to be around—and I am so proud to be part of it and contribute. To the new members of the Top 100 Teachers: Congratulations and well done! 👏 To the rising stars up next, keep going—you are propelling the industry forward and elevating our game. Be unique and trust yourself. Great things will come from authenticity. Grateful to my family for their unwavering support, to @landingsclub for providing an incredible opportunity to teach amazing members, to @titleist for their support and vision, and to @swingcatalyst for empowering me with tools that make real improvement possible. Excited and eager to keep learning alongside this incredible community. ⛳️

A simple Instasmack ‘story’ doesn’t do this man justice for all he’s done for the sport of golf, and those who teach it - so I’ll take the liberty of adding to what @mcleangolf has contributed. ⛳️ With all the complete & total bull💩 (my word & emoji, not Jim’s) being freely spewed in the 2025 golf instruction & coaching arenas, how about some legitimate street cred in the domains of research & experience? ⛳️ The proof is in the proverbial PUDDING people: - Who have you taught? - What have they done & won? - Who have you learned from (Social charlatans, influencers and pretenders don’t COUNT, sorry..)/spent in-person time with? - Can you friggin’ PLAY the game you teach at any reasonable level - or are you part of the “can’t break 90” club? @mcleangolf played in 2 Masters; you? - When assessing a player - do you ask what they shoot (you know, their SCORE) and WATCH THE BALL - or immediately lean on your fancy tech (it ain’t that GOOD folks - sorry to break the news to you..), data & metrics? - Confirmation bias in a method & model, even though REALITY (take a good, hard look at the top players on the 🌍 over the past century and tell me what they ALL do the same?) shows definitely that there IS NO one size fits all.. - You already know it all, don’t you? Smug. Assured. Arrogant. The most dangerous & disgusting type of teacher, and human😱 Or are you a lifelong learner with a VERY sensitive bull💩 meter & baloney detection kit @carlsagandotcom ⛳️ Keep digging. Keep curious. Keep learning. Keep asking questions. @mcleangolf would 🦾🙏🏼🤙🏽
